To play, make sure the bundle includes the game. Choose the game-free collector’s bundle only if you want the collectibles. Check physical cards, download codes, and retailer bonuses separately.

Retailer bonuses are not standard edition contents

The game is exclusive to Switch 2, and the physical edition uses a Switch 2 game card. The US physical release has no Chinese language support. Different stores may include different physical preorder bonuses. These are separate from choosing the standard or collector’s edition: choose the game and collectible bundle first, then compare retailer extras. Store bonuses are not included with every edition.

A collector’s bundle may not include the game

If you already own the game and only want the collectibles, you can choose the bundle without the game. If you want to start playing, make sure the bundle includes the game itself.

Check for a game card or download code before buying

The Japanese release also offers an option that supplies the game through digital redemption. Compared with the game-card bundle, one includes a physical card and the other does not, though both still provide a box. If the prices are the same and I want a physical copy, I would choose the card version, rather than open the box and discover the game is not in the format I wanted to collect.
