Desktop map tool demonstration: filter locations, jump by name, and add markers
If you know a request’s place name but cannot find it, jump there from the location list. Filter the points you need, read their details, then mark them.

Filter the points you need on the map
The in-game map can be awkward to use during requests. Some points do not clearly show their purpose, and finding the location can become a roadblock. I made a desktop map viewer that brings filters and location details together.
Filter for what you need first, leaving only the relevant category on the map, then check its locations. This makes the goal clearer than repeatedly scanning the entire map.
Jump to locations from the place-name list
The tool includes a place-name list. Click a name to jump to its location. Japanese names are included too, making it easier to find the same place when using guides in different languages.
Selecting a map location shows what is there in the upper-right corner. You can move straight from finding a request destination to checking its contents, without repeatedly guessing how the name relates to the map.
Location markers and map zoom
Mark locations you want to remember so they are easier to find next time. The lower-right controls zoom the map in and out.
The desktop tool’s link is in the original video description. The video also demonstrates Qiandao’s Fortune's Weave database on mobile, covering characters, weapons, items, and maps. Adding the same map there was still planned at the time.
