Fog and giant paralogues: Reveal the map, then play around the four-kill victory conditionMinor spoilers
Credna's Blessing improves fog vision, but scouts still need to survive. Check paralogue deadlines promptly, and plan the giant contest around kills, feed, and blocking rivals.

For fog maps, prepare a vision-expanding Blessing and anti-air weapons, then scout with units who can return alive. In the giant contest, focus first on the four-kill victory condition.
Reveal the fog before sending scouts
The briefing already recommends weapons effective against fliers and a Blessing that expands vision. Prepare Credna's Blessing: level 1 adds 5 vision for one turn. See the surroundings before moving.
Once on the map, do not rush movement. A fragile scout may reveal enemies but fail to return. If the right side is too dangerous, leave those units still for now. Use a Blessing when needed, then choose the next position.
Evaluate archer accuracy alongside ability conditions
The new archer has growth resembling
Peter's, but different abilities.
Lilian has
Safety First for extra Hit when enemies cannot counter, and can learn
Upper Hand to increase Attack at full Hit. Consider these together instead of replacing someone based on a single growth row. Even if you are used to the old teammate, check what the newcomer adds.
Repeated misses feel terrible. Check Dexterity, then weapon Hit, then the current forecast. One armored unit missing does not make the class solely responsible.
Physic heals over long distances and becomes even more useful when the formation spreads out.
Separate paralogue acceptance windows from completion deadlines
After daily activities such as spectating, bathing, and feeding horses, check for paralogues again. I thought none were available that day, but found one when returning. They are easy to miss. Talk to accept the quest first, then check its completion deadline.
Acceptance and completion windows are separate. You may be allowed to finish a quest later, but the person offering it may not remain available.
An elderly person you pass on the map may be the paralogue's entry point. Do not leave it alone based only on the final date.

Win the giant contest with four kills
This map has an unusual condition: defeat four giants to win, while other factions compete with you. Feed appears to offer a chance to avoid attacks, so I tried it. In battle, repeated feeding restrictions differed from my expectations. After wasting several turns, I needed to Rewind and rearrange the plan.

Later, you must block competitors along the route as well as fight giants. Stop them moving down and watch for attempts to steal feed. A key kill may still depend on 55% Hit. If it misses, keep finding alternatives until you reach four targets.
