Anna’s elephant guest battle and paralogue shop

Anna cannot become a permanent party member. To control her, play Anna's paralogue in Cai's, Dietrich's, or Theodora's story. She temporarily fights as an Elephant Rider, mainly using Smash to clear enemies and destroy ore piles. You can still use her shop and receive quest rewards afterward, but cannot continue training Anna.

Guest battles appear on three routes

You cannot permanently recruit Anna in any of the four stories: Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, or Leda. There is no permanent recruitment method after the prologue or in the Promised One's story either. Raising bonds or Renown and giving gifts cannot recruit her.

You can use her in Anna's paralogue on Cai's, Dietrich's, and Theodora's routes. It does not occur on Leda's route. Her growths, personal skill, and Bloodmark are visible during this guest appearance, but she still leaves afterward.

Elephant Rush adds a Smash use

Elephant Rush requires cavalry status and the Elephant Rider class, granting Smash uses +1. She can use Smash once more in the paralogue; other cavalry do not receive this bonus, and Anna cannot freely change class.

Diadem of Darkness has a 3% chance to activate when attacking, granting Attack +5 and Hit +30. The chance is low, so do not rely on it for mandatory ore destruction or kills. She excels in Spear and Riding, with no weaknesses; her guest appearance has no proficiency-rank requirement.

Personal growth rates total 335, excluding class growths; she cannot be permanently trained to level 60. In the paralogue, plan attacks around the elephant's movement range, remaining Smash uses, and map objectives.

Solel holds the giant while Anna destroys ore

Accept the paralogue from Anna outside Dagda Temple in the imperial capital, Dagsion. On Cai’s route it appears in Chapter 10, and on Theodora’s in Chapter 11, from September 24 to October 5. On Dietrich’s route it appears in Chapters 10–11, from September 29 to October 5.

Have Solel hold the powerful giant's attention. His physical durability is high, and Sol lets him deal damage while recovering HP. Split the other units up to destroy ore piles; high-movement units reduce travel, and Anna's elephant Smash can also break them. Splitting up and using ore-pile mechanisms to damage the giant is more effective than surrounding it with the whole army.

There are 10 ore piles. Every 5 destroyed deal a large burst of damage to the giant, for two triggers in total. Count Anna’s actions together with those of your other ore breakers rather than focusing only on the nearest pile. Her Smash helps remove targets, but the main strategy remains having Solel draw the giant while everyone else uses mobility to clear ore.

Completing the paralogue grants Orichalcum ×1, 20,000 gold, and 150 Renown. Anna still leaves afterward.

Use the guest abilities shown for this battle

The paralogue status screenshot shows Anna as a level 30 Elephant Rider. Equipped skills list Knightly Senses, Knight’s Vanguard, and Counter Snipers, with two empty slots; her personal skill and Elephant Rider class abilities are separate. Mount skills show none. Class-specific attacks and Smash are also separate. Held items and the three ordinary combat art slots are not shown, so the six-item inventory setup is unknown. Guest levels may differ across the three protagonist routes; level 30 only describes this battle.

Visit the shop on the top level at night

Anna runs her shop on Dagsion's top level from 18:00 to 5:59 the following morning. Once the story lets you reach the top level, visit at night; it is closed during the day. Her stock includes stat items such as Seraph Robe and Energy Drop, so check here when spending gold to improve your units' stats.

She also runs the shop at the same location in Part 3, but its stock differs from Part 1. Check the current period's list when buying; Part 1 items may no longer be sold in Part 3. You can still shop after the paralogue.

Anna's preferences and birthday

She likes rumors, sales, money, and bargains, and dislikes mice and liars. Her birthday is June 9, and her Japanese voice actor is Saori Seto.

Have Solel hold the giant while Anna rides an elephant and destroys ore piles with Heavy Rush. Check remaining Smash counts before acting; elephants cannot dodge, so Knightly Senses will not let her evade.
