Gathering a few portions of Sandworm Meat takes repeated crate openings and forces changes to festival and return plans. Recover before leaving and plan the return along known routes.

Recover first even when Renown is nearly ready

An audience with Kalla earns fifty Renown, leaving only eighty to level six. The available quest will cover that gap, allowing a few more recruitment targets this chapter. The schedule needs rearranging too: watch the preliminaries tomorrow, head out afterward, then return for town activities.

But I forgot to eat last time. Healing spells are exhausted, and the party's Motivation and HP are not full. Rest first and arrange training, combat, and exploration before leaving for materials. Being able to recruit people does not mean the army is ready for a long trip.

Gathering Sandworm Meat crowds out the original schedule

This trip is for Sandworm Meat. I open plenty of Luxury Meat Crate, but the target refuses to appear as the calendar keeps advancing. Soon I worry about getting back in time and even wonder whether the guide listed the wrong material.

After realizing I can explore personally as well as dispatch units, I keep searching and opening crates. One crate follows another, each feeling like it might finally finish the job. By the time I have enough, I must abandon the festival I wanted to attend and plan to return Saturday instead.

Finishing the materials is good, but the cost is already clear: a few portions of meat have gradually squeezed out the original schedule.

Return by known routes instead of gambling on a new waystation

After deciding to return Saturday, I still hope the waystation ahead will shorten the trip. With only one day left, I keep exploring the labyrinth, hoping a carriage waits near its exit. I reach the other end and find none, wasting more than ten minutes.

Calculate the return using a known route

Start by calculating how to get home along the route you already know. You can look for new exits and waystations along the way, but betting your only return plan on one means that failing to find it further compresses your already limited time.

Confirm the material source, then return to team preparation

Later, comparing dispatches with personal searches further confirms this material route. Seeing the result eases my earlier frustration that “the guide is lying.” The direction was right; the material really is hard to obtain. The effort finally paid off.

The trip brought back plenty of money as well as meat. Once Nezha joins, I can check his weapons, class, and skills and finally move my attention from the next crate back to developing the army.
