Advent arc exploration: Check class weapons, then review lore and Clash linksMajor spoilers
Check the current class before equipping a found weapon. Manage link points in Clashes and use the information menu to look up lore terms.

Check whether the current class can use a new weapon first. Keep Linked Attack points for labyrinth encounters and use rest opportunities carefully. Return to the information menu if the lore is hard to remember.
Check class access when you find a weapon
I first tested camera recentering, running, and the map, then visited the nearby investigation points. When I found Salamander, its 1–2 range and gauntlet type made me want to use it immediately. Checking the current class revealed that
Guardian could not equip gauntlets, though another teammate could.
After finding a weapon, check its type, the current class, and the equipment list together. Impressive Might and range still need someone who can use them.
The information menu and weapon lore
I kept worrying that I had missed exploration items while many lore terms arrived at once. I opened the information menu to understand the terminology. It contains full explanations of Mediators, underground facilities, and weapon origins.
Salamander is a portable firearm, while
Zerberus is a modified personal weapon for
Troy. Mediators are artificial humans created to handle conflict, malfunctions, and unknown situations during voyages, able both to communicate and to resolve trouble through force. Their bodies are enhanced and sustained by internal devices; malfunctions can cause rapid aging and other problems. Reading this background makes the two firearms and characters’ appearances and purposes easier to understand.
Link resources in Clashes
Contact with enemies in dungeons starts a Clash. Allies and enemies alternate actions, using the unit's HP total. You can trigger attack, healing, or offensive-and-defensive links with companions, but these consume link points.
Choose an offensive Linked Attack to deal damage together, or include healing in the turn if you need recovery while fighting. Linked Attack points are limited, so consider how many enemies remain. Each labyrinth allows only one rest. I skip resting this time and continue forward.
Class tiers and the stat screen
Seeing
War Monk made me count the class tiers again and realize that I had overlooked Master classes. My earlier assumptions about class progression needed another look.
For character stats, also separate bonuses from the current class and equipped abilities. Checking the information menu and stat screen is clearer than stacking further guesses on top of an assumed class structure.
