Playing this class

Dancer gives an action to the ally who needs it most: another mage attack against heavy armor, or another heal when HP is dangerous. Stronger allies make the extra action more valuable. Do not spend every turn having the Dancer finish an enemy personally.

Who benefits

Leda serves as Dancer first on her own route. Start Hunter → Rogue, train swords and bows, then switch once unlocked. When the team has enough damage, she handles Dance and Blaze Art support.

If Leda becomes an attacker in Part 3, pass certification to Aswan. She can Dance from the backline while avoiding exposure to her low Resistance.

Training

From Leda Chapter 9, complete “Great Dancer’s Successor”: obtain one Hingosh at Baina Oasis, deliver it for the Dancer’s Necklace, then show it to the examiner for automatic story certification. You do not need level 35 or Sword/Bow B first. In normal progression, control experience slightly to switch before level 20. Staying at level 1 is a separate, more laborious training approach.

Normal requirements apply when transferring it to someone else in Part 3: Renown 8 and either Sword B or Bow B, with recommended level 35. Return the old holder’s certification to the examiner first, then give the necklace to the new character.

Dancer uses swords and bows, has Movement 5, and adds Speed growth +25 and Charm +20. Let the target act first, then approach and Dance. Check what the target can attack with its second action and leave a safe tile for the Dancer. Mastery Special Dance grants the target Dexterity and Speed +3 each, only until the current phase ends.

When to leave

Stay Dancer when you need extra actions. Dance is a class ability and disappears on switching to an ordinary combat class, even after mastery. Special Dance is worth learning, adding Speed and Dexterity whenever you keep dancing.

Later, one character can be an ordinary Dancer and another The Apsara, both deployed together. If Leda becomes an attacker, transfer the ordinary Dancer certification to an ally to retain two extra-action roles.
