Change teammates or classes on a second route to make training feel fresh. Before resuming older progress, recheck side quests and resources. For post-clear carryover, finish the previous route's War Arc first.

New teammates or classes make another route feel fresh

For this second route, I want to recruit Nydine and others I have not properly developed. Recruiting and training the exact same team every time makes even familiar battles tiring.

I could keep using Loretta, but this time I want to train someone else. Changing a few people, or giving familiar characters different classes, creates something new to anticipate.

Finish the war story before continuing inheritance

Before finishing my first route, I started Theodora and played its first five chapters. When I returned, I found that this earlier route opening had not inherited what I later cleared on the first route.

I therefore prefer finishing one route's war story before switching, with less jumping among several openings. Before resuming an existing route, check its current chapter, quests, and resources.

Recheck side quest completion on another route

I still want to save money on certificates and use available discounts. Looking through quests back in town, I discovered one I had not completed on Cai's route. A familiar list is not a reason to skip everything.

Check new side quests and completed ones individually. Saving time still requires knowing what can actually be skipped.

Budget training and meals together

I wanted to keep treating people to meals but found insufficient resources and regretted training first. Lodging could restore what was needed, but this round's activities had to be rearranged.

Next time in town, decide who needs training and whom to interact with before spending. Do not maximize one activity and discover nothing remains for the next.
