Handle weekly training and spectating together
Train
Esmeralda first this week, then watch Monday's and Tuesday's qualifiers. The second match looks like it will trigger story events, so save beforehand. Aim for perfect training results while checking remaining Motivation. Later, I settle for Excellent on some activities; chasing the best result forever would never end.
Later, I briefly forget whether training is done and must check the menu. Handle weekly training and spectating together rather than switching between work and town travel, then rechecking halfway through.
Kalla's Blessing is just short of level three. Even without its auspicious day, finish it now so it is available for the coming battle.
Assign hot-spring positions by army needs
Hot-spring positions differ. Upper spots add Attack Speed; lower ones favor magic. Match them to the right people. A slot offering only HP or an unusable skill is less worthwhile; at least let someone recover some Motivation.
Temporary stats help, but repeated baths consume both time and money. Give Magic spots to those needing Magic and Attack Speed spots to those who benefit. Stop when money runs low rather than visiting every pool.
Spectating, work, and performances can fit between activities. Listening to music costs money; when funds are tight, have high-Motivation members perform for income instead. Working one fewer day earns less, but this result provides plenty of materials. There is no need to keep restarting for the best outcome.
Combine request destinations along one route
Check all three request destinations before leaving. Comparing them on the map reveals targets that fit one journey, so combine the routes.
Do not blindly follow the original route when enemies appear. Seeing a Thunder threat in rain, change the forward unit and lure space first. Read enemy movement and attack ranges, then let the enemy approach. If someone needs a level, leave them the finishing hit.
Reserve travel money before shopping
Set aside these two expenses before shopping:
| Purpose | Gold |
|---|---|
| Planned purchases | 2700 |
| Carriage | About 400 |
Good weapons in a shop do not automatically need buying now.
There are already two
Levin Sword. Some units lack Sword rank, others lack Magic, so nobody can use a third right now.
The same applies to
Ji. With enough anti-cavalry weapons already, do not stockpile more. When money is needed, sell duplicate
Iron Spear,
Killing Edge, and surplus supplies to afford equipment you will actually use.
I repeatedly reopen a weapon crate, hoping for something better than
Ridersbane, then ultimately want the original
Ridersbane back. Keep a useful result rather than losing a suitable one while chasing something more expensive.
Reserve extra return turns for exploration detours
The initial journey count seems sufficient, but adding the trip home reveals a whole day lost to travel. With twenty-plus turns remaining, recruitment, waystation unlocks, and gathering detours suddenly make time tight. Back up the save, then check the route again.
Also establish where to enter the desert after taking a carriage to this station next time. An impassable entrance wastes the preceding turns. Training low-level allies during fights adds time too, so do not estimate solely from the fastest direct charge.
This
Luxury Fish Crate happens to contain the quest fish, removing a planned shopping trip and its return travel. That leaves room to unlock the left-side waystation first. Leaving Sunday and heading directly toward the story should roughly fit. More recruitment, gathering, or a ruins detour needs separate turns.
