Check character information for unmet recruitment requirements
When you meet someone in the city, open their character information first and check Support, Renown, and negotiation conditions. The demo clearly shows what recruitment still needs, so you do not have to keep talking to them blindly.
| Recruitment requirement | Current level | Required level |
|---|---|---|
| Support | 1 | 2 |
| Renown | 4 | 5 |
You can share meals with characters who have not joined yet. Give the first gift to establish a relationship, then invite them to eat. Consider both diners when choosing a dish. Short conversations during the meal also reveal their personalities. Training lets you practice skills you have not had a chance to use in battle, preparing for future class changes.
Dietrich can teach Combat Arts
Dietrich’s route centers on combat. He can learn and strengthen Combat Arts himself, then teach the arts he has learned to the team. Complete the relevant challenges for money and new Combat Arts, then return to continue teaching. Exploration and combat become parts of the same development path.
Calculate turns before world-map travel
World-map movement consumes turns. Longer journeys can cost more turns in a single move. Check the time estimate as you change destinations, rather than discovering too late that you cannot get back in time. Before exploring, check the materials listed at the upper left to see whether that tile has anything you want, then spend the action to search.
Inside a labyrinth, you can open chests for materials and encounter enemies to challenge. Choose terrain that grants Avoid for your fighting positions, then compare attack options before committing. You do not have to charge straight ahead along the shortest path.
Mount care and Battalion assignment
Switching to
Cai shows capturing animals, checking their preferences, and caring for mounts. These activities also tie into world-map movement, so you can plan the travel together.
Battalion assignment depends on class. A class change may unequip the previous Battalion, so check again before deployment. Compare more than stat bonuses: consider what its Gambit can do in this battle. Sometimes you must choose between more Movement and a Gambit that solves the situation.
