In the three-unit final battle, hold the front line and let
Hong Hua keep dealing damage from behind. If approaching the boss gets her killed, switch to long-range Bolting, survive enemy phase, and plan the next round's damage. The final kill needs more than a critical: it also hinges on Magic. Hong Hua's extra 1 Magic from a level-up, followed by a critical hit, finally completes the finish.
Concentrate resources on Hong Hua’s damage
The settings are Hard difficulty and Classic mode, using the three-unit salvation route. During final-battle preparation, Hong Hua has 46 Magic. The protagonist keeps gaining Magic instead of the desired Strength, so Hong Hua handles most damage while the front line blocks the entrance and absorbs attacks.
Exploration and leveling also serve the three units' stats. Plan the accessories and temples you want, use unlocked waystations and temples as teleport points, and reduce repeated travel. Fight enemies and open labyrinth chests for forging materials and stat resources. Cutting out development for a large roster still leaves the need to prepare these three units' equipment and stats.
Clear enemy healers before holding the entrance
Start by removing important nearby enemies, especially healers, then return to the frontal engagement. Block the entrance with the frontliner and keep Hong Hua somewhere she can cast while protected. Do not expose the entire back line just to attack the boss.
Advance after surviving the first round. Armored enemies deal almost no damage to this save's frontliner, and some positions also withstand magic. The commentary mentions one tank with 55 Resistance whom some nearby enemies cannot hurt. Stabilize the side you can already hold, preserving limited healing and attacks for real threats.
The key is surviving the next round after every attack. A critical that weakens an enemy does not replace checking counters and enemy phase. One attempt still collapses after a critical, requiring a reload and adjustment.
Use Bolting if Hong Hua cannot survive up close
Midbattle, bringing Hong Hua closer for damage gets her defeated. Other close-range approaches still fail to keep her alive. Save, revise the attack method, and choose Bolting to add damage from farther away.
With Bolting, Hong Hua survives enemy phase, finally allowing the battle to continue. Long-range attacks sacrifice some damage per hit but preserve her next action. Keeping her alive for a second round is worth more than one stronger close-range attack followed by defeat.
If damage remains short, change the action order and retry. The recording also tries changing crystal-pillar operations. Recheck Hit, Critical, and remaining enemy HP bars after each retry. One apparently sufficient burst removes only one bar, and the following counter still ends the battle.
Gain a little Magic with a level-up before the damage push
The final adjustment relies on breaking the shield and leveling in the next round. Hong Hua gains 1 Magic, then lands a critical to secure the kill. Two conditions are met together: base damage must be sufficient, and the critical must actually occur. Repeatedly waiting for a critical cannot end the battle if base damage remains slightly short.
Before finishing, check how many boss HP bars remain and compare current Magic with the attack forecast. If the enemy will act after the burst, preserve healing and an escape plan for Hong Hua. Reloading can adjust order, but every renewed attack must include whether she survives afterward.
Defeating Balor still leaves exploration and story in the Underworld's depths. Follow the newly opened path and deal with the core sustaining the Underworld to reach this three-unit route's ending.
