Armored dodge-tank builds for Leda and LysanderMinor spoilers

Train Speed and damage first, then switch to heavy armor in Part 3. This requires substantial training investment; keep the existing class until the pieces are ready.

Develop Speed before switching to armor

Build Speed and damage first, then equip heavy armor in Part 3 to absorb the physical attacks you fail to dodge.

This Leda and Lysander build requires extra training resources. It trades slightly less Avoid than the three sisters for higher Defense: dodge high-Attack enemies and use Defense to absorb hits from fast enemies. Prepare separate answers for magic, guaranteed hits, and area attacks. Ultand's defensive bunker of blocking paths and healing is a different build.

Leda is still a Dancer here, with Dance listed among class skills on the right. Base Speed 55, Attack Speed 46, and Avoid 54 are shown separately on the left. Record all three during training before considering armor.

Start with a usable Dancer route in Part 1

Leda: Follow the Dancer page, preparing through Hunter → Archer or Rogue → Dancer. Recommended levels are 5 for Beginner and 20 for Specialty. Prioritize Sword/Bow B, Renown 8, and the unlock quest. Keep her with the team using a bow/light sword and healing items, then support with Special Dance as a Dancer.

Lysander: This plan begins with Pugilist. A workable Beginner bridge is Gladiator, recommended at level 5 with Sword/Axe/Gauntlet D in one discipline and Renown 1, then Pugilist at recommended level 20 with Gauntlet C and Renown 4. After level 35, Accelerate+ gives 2 Speed per kill, up to 10. Have allies weaken targets so he can finish safely. Do not position him as if the bonus were fully stacked before activating it.

Prepare for Ranger at level 35. If it is not unlocked, continue with Pugilist or your available Strength route rather than stopping the story.

Train Avoid and certification prerequisites separately in Part 2

CharacterAvoid skill targetFinal certification targetOptional Divine-class mastery target

Keep Leda in Dancer and Lysander in a class that already fights effectively. Train Spear/Axe and Riding first, then add Heavy Armor. Skill books cannot be used in Part 2 and return in Part 3. Use them early in Part 1 when possible, train during the War story, and fill larger gaps in Part 3.

Lysander learns Armored Leap at Heavy Armor C, granting Avoid +10 while armored.

Great Knight eligibility appears among Credna’s quest rewards. Confirm the unlock before planning the class change.

Arrange extra actions and healing before Leda leaves Dancer

Leaving Dancer removes Leda's class Dance. Arrange for Ursula or another unit with Sword/Bow B to obtain Dancer eligibility first, then bring a healer to cover damage that gets through. See the Dancer page for conditions. Use Kalla or Jurah for temporary protection according to current unlocks, choosing one per turn. Do not treat Blessings as permanent base stats.

The Blessing selection screen lists each level's effects and one-turn duration below. Current Divine Sand appears at the upper right, with costs listed separately. Choose for this turn's needs before engaging.

Judge ordinary heavy cavalry separately from this Speed-trained setup

Ordinary Great Knight falls behind in late-game damage and axe accuracy. This build compensates with Speed trained beforehand, extra armor skills, and mounts, at a higher training cost. If resources are short, keep the original class rather than delaying Parts 1 and 2 for a Part 3 setup.
