The Heroic Games begin the tragedy. Revisit the past, prepare the teams, and change four fates so they can fight together in the future.
The Heroic Games set up a crisis five years later
At first, four people seem to be competing for one championship. Then the story jumps five years ahead: the Demon God Balor has returned, the four warriors are gone, and the world faces destruction. Changing the past now has a clear goal: return five years earlier and give those who originally died a different future.
Movement, range, and the cost of arts
Movement, range, terrain, weapons, and ally positions determine what you can accomplish this turn. Combat Arts spend durability for more damage or greater range. Blaze Arts trade HP for special options.
Cai can unleash wide-area flames,
Dietrich can reposition,
Theodora can throw at range, and
Leda can strengthen allies and summon beasts. Their differences go beyond weapons to how each can change the entire board.
Switch routes while developing teams between matches
Between main-story battles, you can train, strengthen weapons, reclass, and recruit companions through requests, gifts, and meals. Outside town, fight, explore dungeons, and find materials and treasure. Each protagonist's exclusive commands also allow scouting enemies, dispatching soldiers, or gathering resources.
Each protagonist's journey is saved separately, letting you switch between them. Seeing the same tournament through different lives gradually reveals how it connects to the disaster five years later.
From rewinding a battle to rewriting four fates
Battle Rewind lets you redo a mistaken step. Returning five years into the past gives four lives destined to end a new direction. Every preparation and encounter ultimately serves the same wish: bringing them together for the final confrontation.
