Gifts unlock dining and Support
By Chapter 10 of 
Cai's route, Renown mostly follows chapter progress, so actively raising support matters more for recruitment. Even if a character cannot yet be recruited, giving gifts lets them join meals and can trigger support conversations with others.
After recruiting 
Esmeralda, you can see her conversations with 
Dietrich even on Cai's route. A larger roster also gives more theater casting choices. A successful performance raises support among five people while earning payment and rare gifts. 
Theodora likes Yu Phas, so give her 
Portrait of Yu Phas.
Restart the conversation after a wrong negotiation answer
Guzran, 
Noctula, and 
Alexandra require no extra negotiation.
Yang Jie asks three questions. Choose “Cheese,” then “A full-moon night,” then “Fruit.” A wrong answer does not require closing the game and reloading. Speak again to restart the questions and choose once more.
Talk to 
Majide several times, repeatedly choosing “I need you” to express acceptance. For 
Jasmine, prepare 2,000 gold.
Materials, purchases, and exchanges for negotiation
For 
Dates, first complete the “Huge Hairy Beasts” request for two Dates, then plant them on the world map. A harvest gives ten at once.
Prepare the full material quantities first:
