Defeat marked sandworms to trigger a chain clear

To remake the necklace that suppresses her arm’s power, Theodora and her companions visit Kunlun for ore. You do not need to clear every sandworm individually. Marked sandworms explode when defeated, taking nearby smaller worms with them.

Find the marked targets first and use their explosions to clear the field, then focus on the large sandworm. Return the ore to have a new necklace made and continue the tournament.

Glowing events and help from lending a boat

After returning to the main city, a mysterious woman in white asks to borrow a boat. Lend it to her here, and she will later return to help Theodora. You have little need to sail afterward yourself.

Watch glowing spots on the minimap for special events. Approaching them triggers story scenes. Check temples and meetings before progressing.

Secure central artillery first in the treasure contest

Defeated units on both sides revive on their own side of the field. The objective is to hold more gems than your opponent at the end of turn twelve. Gem totals matter more than simply defeating units.

Take the center first. Its six artillery emplacements cover a large area. Enemies carrying gems back to base are hard to catch normally, but artillery can defeat them from afar so you can recover the gems. Gem carriers also take more damage, making them easier to handle with artillery.

Ammunition is limited, so save it for valuable targets. Keep holding the center too. If you give it up, enemies can use the artillery themselves and threaten your gem carriers. Check the gem totals before the finish and preserve your lead until scoring.

Use the semifinal’s barrier and split lanes by defensive stats

In the semifinal against Cai, take the central switch first to activate the magic barrier. If your team is only moderately developed, wait for enemies to approach and handle them individually before advancing. Do not rush the entire party into artillery range.

The artillery on both sides deals heavy damage. Assign units according to their defenses:

PositionUnit role
Left laneAdvance with high-Resistance units
Right laneAdvance with high-Defense units
CenterSofia heals both sides

Even characters with the appropriate high defensive stat still lose over twenty HP per hit. Do not draw too many enemies at once.

Clear the opponents in both lanes, activate the devices, then focus on Cai. The necklace breaks again during this battle. Theodora must break free of the control herself to win the semifinal.

Finish October paralogues before the final chapter

When a crisis strikes her homeland, Theodora withdraws from the tournament to return home. In Part 1’s final chapter, do not advance the main story just because it is available. October has three Paralogues, and this story segment skips time. Finish them first.

The final battle has several stages. Use the Saramis Soldiers’ crossbows against the opening flying enemies and advance carefully. Later, while fighting enemy commanders, the woman in white you lent the boat to arrives as powerful support. Let her handle enemies while you activate the device switches to make progress much easier.
