Seeing the queen's route after
Cai changes the crossover scenes. For battle preparation, check mechanism objectives, timed paralogues, and certification proficiency.
Check targets and the finishing tile before an elephant charge
At the start, I mistook a target meant for destruction as something to protect. The elephant also ended up awkwardly placed beside two enemies effective against it. Looking back, the problem was the charge endpoint. I should not have charged directly from here; I needed to stop elsewhere.
An elephant can push forward, but movement distance alone is not enough. Confirm the map objective, check who can attack the destination and who has effective weapons, then decide whether allies can handle what follows the charge.

Mechanisms on both sides and exam preparation
I initially attack in the wrong direction on the mechanism map, then realize devices on both left and right need attention. Everyone has already moved to one side, making the walk back slow.
I also want someone to become
Charioteer, but opening development makes me wonder whether I trained Bow. Raise proficiency before changing classes rather than discovering one exam requirement is missing when you need the class.
Low-accuracy attacks slow things too. A forecast of only 58 calls for a different approach. Before the last kills, also check whether someone else can take the experience.

Cai and Theodora's crossover
My favorite part is seeing the two routes connect here. Playing
Cai first changes how the same meeting feels from
Theodora's side. The other group is no longer strangers. I know what they have been through and want to see how the queen responds.
The same visit to
Aurora and the same conversation gain new appeal through another viewpoint. The queen's reaction when
Cai introduces his mother, and her later eagerness to meet again, make their interactions more interesting.
Multiple routes offer more than replaying maps. Getting to know one side before returning to the other adds familiarity even to an otherwise ordinary entrance.

Confirm paralogue dates before shopping
Several paralogues appear close together just as I want weapons against cavalry and armor, leaving time tight.
Hammer and anti-cavalry equipment need preparing, but another distant shopping trip would compress the paralogue window.
Read the paralogue list and dates before deciding whether there is time to leave. Returning to Ribera Village and handling other locations also belong in the same schedule. Do not focus solely on the latest quest.
If a meal or training remains unfinished, handle it before leaving the capital rather than remembering only after skipping turns.

Ensure someone can take over healing before changing classes
Sofia stayed in
Bishop throughout the previous route, so I want to try
Troubadour this time. But the army needs her focused on healing, leaving me torn between novelty and recovery power.
I also want to try chariots and add an archer. Experimenting is fine, but decide who heals and who supplies long-range attacks before reclassing. Otherwise, a new class leaves the old job uncovered.
