Chapter 10: Precious TimeMinor spoilers

Hold the starting tiles and lure enemies one at a time, then regroup after clearing one side. Use the Hammer and Levin Sword against Theodora, followed by a Clash.

Draft · Updated 2026-10-19

Make Cai your main damage dealer, supported by your developed core units, and bring someone who can use Levin Sword against armor. Wait on the starting floor tiles for enemies to approach. As you advance, secure good engagement positions and lure them in one at a time. After clearing one side, rejoin the main group instead of sending a lone unit straight at the boss. Use the Hammer and Levin Sword against Theodora. Another Clash follows after you defeat her.

Dates for the three paralogues

Accept the available paralogues on September 17 before planning a trip out of town. Talimun's paralogue takes place on the world map; its listed deadline after acceptance is October 12. Anna's paralogue becomes available on September 24. If you travel far, allow time to return and accept it before October 5. Talimun's October acceptance window is for the same paralogue as September's, so this chapter has three paralogues, not four.

If you want to complete paralogues before weekend training, return on Friday. Paralogues advance the date, so finishing on Friday takes you to Saturday. Returning only on Saturday may cause a paralogue to consume the time you reserved for weekend activities.

Wait on the starting floor tiles for enemies to approach. Do not rush your back line out of position. Attacks can reach farther than expected from the start, so first check which tiles are threatened.

The party is grouped on the blue-purple floor at the starting steps. Enemies remain ahead, so the back line does not need to descend immediately.

Secure engagement positions as you move out, drawing enemies down individually. While clearing the front, deal with the mage in the lower-right corner as well. Do not send a fragile unit into two other enemies' ranges just to finish the one in front of you.

If a mounted unit faces an effectiveness warning, dismount and check the forecast instead of taking the hit while mounted. Check Attack Speed and survival before engaging, too. Against an enemy with 18 Attack Speed, make sure you will not be killed before entering combat.

Regroup after clearing one side

You can obtain Levin Sword during the main battle.

After clearing one side, rejoin the main group instead of sending one unit straight toward the boss. Check incoming damage when you encounter an enemy carrying a Hammer. Do not keep advancing with a unit who would be left near death by that hit.

When approaching Theodora, stop if moving farther would let her attack you, and wait for the others. Lure enemies closer and regroup before engaging.

Use the Hammer and Levin Sword against Theodora

Ordinary physical attacks struggle to damage Theodora. Switch to Hammer and bring in a Levin Sword wielder to help break through her armor. Check hit rates when finishing her: an attack with 73% Hit can miss, so keep someone available to follow up before ending your turn.

Victory in the first phase leads to a Clash. Defeat Theodora again to complete the chapter.

Feed your mounts before catching up on EXP

During later free time, run dungeons to earn EXP for your party and harvest the crops you planted earlier. If you have already spent this chapter's time outside town capturing mounts, prioritize returning to feed them. A level-one mount does not yet provide the growth bonus you want; catching it is only the first step. Staying outside too long to capture a Black Magonius cuts into weekly training.
