Chapter 10: The Mediator of NuwaMinor spoilers

Advance with two front-line units and keep Sofia behind to heal. Avoid two mages near the switch, then rush the boss with high Hit or halve damage against long-range magic.

Draft · Updated 2026-10-19

If Dietrich is already ahead in levels, advance with him and another front-line unit while Sofia heals from behind. Withdraw units who cannot survive early. Clear nearby enemies first. When taking the switch, avoid exposing the same front-line unit to both mages. The boss’s long-range magic can defeat a unit from full HP. Activate damage halving before taking another engagement. If you can no longer protect your teammates, clear the blocking enemies and have Dietrich defeat the boss quickly. Prioritize a high-Hit Combat Art for the last blow.

Check Resistance before warping in Anna's paralogue

Anna's paralogue is available by September 29 and ends October 5, so finish it early. Even if Dietrich can warp to the upper area, do not send him straight into mages. Stop short if Resistance is insufficient.

Unlock Ranger before planning distant trips

There are only 20 turns of free time before this chapter’s main battle. To unlock Ranger here, prioritize its challenge, then return to town to change class. Rangers can still use swords. If you schedule both paralogues and challenges, skip a special trip to the royal capital in the lower right for Advanced Seals. Repeated travel would consume your preparation time.

If Ranger is only for mastery, change back afterward. If failed exams consume both passes, reload the chapter start and reorganize preparations. Even a 78% pass rate can fail twice in a row.

Another schedule prioritizes challenge letters and postpones less urgent side quests. With 12 turns left, even a seemingly convenient 5000G request requires counting the turns needed to return and turn it in. If time is too short, finish the current battle and return the way you came without another detour.

Once your main fighters can handle enemies independently, let Dietrich and another front-line unit advance while Sofia heals from behind. Weak units following them force your main fighters to spend effort rescuing them. If you discover they cannot withstand attacks, withdraw them from danger instead of keeping them at the front just for numbers.

Reach the switch while avoiding two mages

Before approaching the switch, clear enemies nearby who still threaten the team. As you move deeper, check especially whether both mages can hit the engaging unit. A front-line unit without high Resistance may fail to survive one hit from each. Do not walk into their crossfire just to take the mechanism quickly.

The glowing disc in the upper left is the switch. Clear enemies from the route before approaching.

Try to activate the switch before the enemy. Letting them take control first leaves you facing mechanism enemies that are difficult to damage.

Leave the upper enemies' attack range

Even if you can kill the immediate target, check whether enemies above can hit your attack position. If they would attack afterward, step back before dealing with the target. If enemies behind are already close, clear the rear first and withdraw units who cannot take the hits.

An attack with over 70 Hit can still land after Avoid +50. In an emergency, calculate damage if it connects.

Accurate boss kills or damage reduction against magic

Option one: clear a path and defeat the boss quickly. When teammates become difficult to protect, kill the enemies blocking the route and let Dietrich defeat Anatolia to end the battle. If a normal attack misses, switch to a high-Hit Combat Art for the final blow. An available Combat Art here displays 95 Hit, giving you a more reliable way to finish promptly.

Approach 2: activate damage reduction before taking ranged magic. The battle continues after the boss teleports backward. Keep the back line safe and activate half damage before the ranged spell. Full HP alone is insufficient: this attack can defeat a unit in one hit.
