Bring main attackers with Cleansing Blades and Sofia for recovery. Deploy any developed fliers you have to bypass ground obstacles. Gather on one side at the start and leave someone blocking the upper passage. Splitting into two groups leaves you unable to withstand the constant stream of enemies. Handle pegasi approaching your rear before advancing, protecting Sofia if she has not caught up. The final boss has long range and high Avoid. Check range and hit rates before engaging, then arrange extra actions so your units can attack again.

Return to the Leda route walkthrough

Return on October 22 for the paralogues#

If doing all three paralogues before the main battle, leave enough time for travel outside town and plan to return to find Cai on October 22. You can do Orchel's paralogue before returning. Accept it on October 20, budget about 6 turns for the round trip, and finish it before going back to Cai. Dietrich's paralogue deadline is November 1.

Divide healers and bring Rangers for the paralogues#

When splitting into groups in Dietrich's paralogue, leave a healer on the left. You do not need two healers following the same unit.

In Orchel's paralogue, send Sirocco above with Mu and everyone else below. If you brought two Rangers, let them open chests directly instead of going after keys.

For Cai's paralogue, focus damage on a direct boss kill and first confirm you can deal enough. If Cai himself is at risk of dying, arrange a rescue before focusing entirely on damage.

Gather on one side and block the passage#

Concentrate on one side from the start while blocking the upper passage. Do not engage separately on two routes. More enemies keep appearing below, and neither split group can hold. If already divided, retreat to one side before advancing again.

Fly over terrain or cross immediately after freezing it#

Have fliers handle sections obstructed by ground terrain. They avoid this terrain damage, and pegasus mobility is especially useful when ground units struggle to move.

When ground units need to cross, arrange their movement first, then use Leda's Song of Icewater on the terrain and pass through immediately. Freezing lasts only 1 turn, so cross as soon as the terrain is treated.

Clear enemies with Cleansing Blades instead of Levin Swords#

Check Cleansing Blade forecasts first for your main sword users, and distribute copies among multiple units if possible. It performs better here, while the Levin Sword sometimes cannot hurt a target. Stop advancing if a mage still covers the position ahead. Do not enter its range just for one extra hit.

Recheck the side you just cleared before moving the party; new enemies can appear there. If binding or confusion interrupts an action, revise your movement plan. Hold position and wait if your main units have not all arrived.

Dance for another Zanbato attack#

Against a target that needs more damage, remove one life bar with Ridersbane, then Dance for the attacker and continue with a Zanbato.

Clear rear pegasi to protect Sofia#

Even after opening a route ahead, handle pegasi approaching the rear first, especially if Sofia has not caught up. She handles recovery and moves slowly. If she is poisoned and unable to keep up, advancing everyone else leaves her exposed to the pegasi. Clear them before proceeding.

Check range and hit rates before attacking the boss#

Recheck the final boss's range before approaching; it reaches far. After engaging, do not keep waiting in place for it to approach. The late boss and an enemy on the left may both stay where they are.

Against the boss's high Avoid, check whether your party has ways to improve Hit before attacking. If no accuracy support is available, use a group extra-action effect to create more attack opportunities.

Change Sofia's class first next chapter#

If continuing to use Sofia next chapter, handle her class change before advancing into combat. She is already struggling to keep up here.

If you still need to build relationships, check previously unrecruited characters at the start of next chapter's free time and arrange meals with them.
