Allocate free-time turns

One free-time turn is six game hours, and four make a day. Each chapter has limited time. Trying to fit every activity in immediately makes priorities confusing. Decide whom to recruit and which skills to train, then organize around those two goals.

Check recruitment requirements after first talking

People you have not spoken to have orange marks beside their names and on the map. Open it with ZR and speak to every new face. This registers them in the settlement map’s Characters tab for direct travel later.

Before recruiting, check character information for Bond Level, Renown, negotiation, and quest requirements. A first gift reveals the recruitment option. Favorites grant extra support, but do not wait indefinitely if you lack one: establish contact with any gift. Once support, Renown, and additional conditions are met, invite them directly.

Dine with the protagonist after Sunday’s reset

Recruitment needs support between the target and protagonist. Meals seat three, so put the current protagonist first and use the other two slots for targets. On Cai’s route, for example, seat Cai with Catania and Sirocco.

Check both guests’ reactions before ordering. Disliked food gives less support and no Motivation. Favorite dishes marked by a sparkle give better support and Motivation. Training and Divine Service need Motivation too, so food affects later plans.

Each dish is available once weekly. There are two menus initially and three at higher Renown. They reset Sunday, when meals are half price, so group them then if possible. Theater unlocks at Renown 7, admits two people once weekly, and should pair the protagonist with a recruitment target. Gifts also have a weekly limit. After the first gift, keep building support through meals and theater.

High-support allies gain adjacent combat bonuses and more Linked Attacks in Clash. If you have time, deepen your bond with the Promised One weekly at the Pale Raven’s Perch to improve the chance of help in battle.

Do Renown quests and weekly divine audiences

The main story naturally gives Renown. Accept more side quests to reach recruitment thresholds faster. Request-giving residents have map markers, with orange dots beside those you have not spoken to. Tasks may involve defeating enemies, delivering materials, or finding someone, and completion still requires reporting back.

Report after fulfilling the conditions

Delivering materials or defeating enemies does not itself settle the quest. Include the return trip to report in its deadline.

World-map encounters grant Renown too. Each capital temple offers one audience weekly; yellow dots in Facilities identify available ones. Each gives less than a side quest but accumulates weekly. Check Sunday.

Temple offerings build Blessing progress, so prioritize a god according to tactical needs. If Renown is too low and reception has not appeared, complete requests first. Higher Renown also opens more map areas, higher-tier Certification Exams, more training experience, and menus.

On Cai’s route, check available sparring too. Rewards include items and some advanced-class unlocks.

Schedule daytime training around skill goals

Arena training opens only during daylight. Each session takes two people, with four courses for different skills. For Peter’s and Lilian’s bows, choose a bow-icon course. Higher ranks teach Combat Arts and skills, permit stronger weapons, and satisfy class requirements.

Combat Arts are actively selected attacks with extra might or range, consuming durability. Repair at the forge when low. Equipped skills activate automatically to improve abilities. Both depend on skill development, so using every training opportunity noticeably affects future strength.

Each of the four courses is once weekly, resetting Sunday. Training costs Motivation and money, with half prices Saturday and Sunday. Attend calendar-listed arena matches too for party-wide skill EXP, with the skill determined by contestants’ weapons.

Fill spare turns with Auto-earn

When remaining turns are too few for an expedition, use Auto-earn at the inn for EXP, money, or materials. Distinguish level EXP, skill EXP, and class EXP. Filling class EXP adds a star and teaches the mastery skill; this can finish a nearly mastered class.

Each Sunday, check meals, audiences, Divine Service, the Pale Raven, theater, and training together. Handle activities due to refresh before deciding whether to leave town.
