Chapter 8: Shape of the ConspiracyMinor spoilers
Keep HP safe when Deadeye is telegraphed. Check whether Buccar can take one hit from Hong Hua, and finish Inyoni as soon as you can.
Prepare a Javelin for Buccar before battle. This chapter has only 36 free turns, so avoid a long detour for another Levin Sword. Handle artillery first, slow the upward advance when Deadeye is telegraphed, and heal wounded units before ending the turn. Before Hong Hua, lower her Hit and check Buccar’s Resistance, Hexlock Shield, and grass position, then have him receive one hit with a Javelin while others follow up. Finish Inyoni as soon as possible. Turning aside for mages lets her run away and shoot again, beyond other units’ reach.
Prepare a Javelin within the 36 turns
Give Buccar a Javelin first so he can throw a lance at range. Later recruits can bring another Levin Sword, saving a dedicated trip. If you need another weapon, consider the Cleansing Blade, which remains useful against underworld enemies later.
If you still want to visit the royal capital, save first and test whether you can return by Sunday. Reload if not. The 36-turn schedule is tight, so calculate the time before scheduling this trip.
Clear artillery first and leave Cai a casting position

Option one: use the Levin Sword against ballista emplacements, equip the engaging unit with the Cleansing Blade, clear the right first, then move toward Hong Hua. Olympia can take long-range shots, so include that reach when advancing.
If Cai wants to hit the two enemies behind with a Blaze Art, an occupied casting position prevents the planned attack. Leave that space open when arranging the turn.
Option two: check whether the upper and lower artillery ranges overlap, avoiding destinations hit by both. Even ranged attacks cannot reach targets inside the barrier; extra range does not bypass it.

Deadeye is telegraphed; heal before ending the turn
Option one: Deadeye does not activate every turn. Slow the upward advance when the warning appears and restore HP before ending the turn, especially for fragile wounded healers. Choose the summoning location beforehand. Summoned beasts are uncontrolled and charge around, so you cannot plan their later movement.
Option two: when Guzran faces concentrated fire, lower enemy Hit first and use a Blessing if needed. If a Blessing must work with an ability, activate the Blessing before the ability instead of waiting until everyone has acted. Even an 18%-Hit attack can land, so low Hit alone is no reason to keep pushing.
Lower Hit before Buccar receives Hong Hua
Lower Hong Hua’s Hit, then check whether Buccar can survive one hit with a Javelin. Check Resistance and Hexlock Shield, then place him in grass. Use both reduced Hit and grass for this exchange, with others ready to follow with damage.
If current magic cannot damage Hong Hua, check Levin Sword damage. Even 76% Hit can miss. After clearing this section, lure another enemy if those behind do not advance.
Check Defense-ignoring attacks before tanking arrows with armor
Another advance order clears the enemy healer first. Armor can still take 20 damage from a shot because enemies have attacks that ignore Defense. Defense alone cannot determine whether you survive.
Leave a margin for later attacks near the boss. A unit may survive a slash only because the enemy did not keep attacking. Recalculate subsequent damage before engaging again.
Finish Inyoni instead of switching to the mages
Before pushing armor forward, mark back-line enemies and check their damage, especially whether any mages remain behind them. Near Inyoni, you can have the Levin Sword attack first to remove one health bar, then apply a Hit reduction afterward.
Finish the battle once you can defeat Inyoni instead of redirecting a summoned beast toward mages. Delaying lets her move away and turn back to shoot down allies. If others cannot catch up, check whether Cai can attack. Kalla’s Blessing can rescue the situation. For an area finisher, check whether it will burn allies too.
Leave the Levin Sword with Sirocco after battle
Even after switching to a physical class favoring Strength, Sirocco still has more Magic than Strength, so keep the Levin Sword with him. Next chapter offers 204 free turns to continue gifts and recruitment, then check new recruits’ levels and class-change plans.
