Pser_hanser recommends using the existing Str to fill a slot immediately. This setup uses the current class; it is not a separate class-change chain.

Tahonia: fixed Battlemaster class and final-battle duties

Tahonia joins directly late in the Promised One's story as a ready-made physical replacement. She arrives as Battlemaster and cannot change classes afterward. Focus on her existing gauntlets, swords, and melee stats. If your team lacks a trained brawler or needs a high-HP unit to hold a position, she can step in immediately without completing an early-game promotion route.

She arrives in segment 5

She joins through the story in segment 5 of Part 3, the Promised One's story. Recruitment does not involve bond and Renown negotiations on the four protagonists' routes. This timing makes her immediate capabilities the main consideration. She has no long training window starting in Part 1, so planning dozens of catch-up levels as though she were an early recruit is not worthwhile.

After joining, she remains Battlemaster. Class-change restrictions take priority over proficiency. Higher Gauntlet ranks do not automatically unlock another class set. Her three options are therefore different uses and configurations of her current class: melee replacement, gauntlet offense, and holding a final-battle position. Her class chain begins at Battlemaster and ends at Battlemaster.

High HP comes with low Speed

StatPersonal growthMeaning for her current class
HP65%Her clearest strength, giving room to take hits and hold positions
Strength50%Foundation for physical attacks
Magic5%Not a primary training goal for Battlemaster
Speed20%A clear weakness that leaves her open to follow-ups
Dexterity40%Helps Hit and Crit
Defense45%Another foundation for taking melee damage
Resistance35%Still check incoming spell damage separately
Luck20%Not the basis of her main strengths
Charm40%Does not change her main melee replacement role

Her total personal growth is 320. HP is among the roster’s highest, while Strength and Defense support close combat. Low Speed leaves her vulnerable to follow-ups, so even high HP must be checked against two hits. Before leaving her in front, check the enemy’s attack count and total damage.

She excels in Gauntlet, with no listed weaknesses.

Her chance-based follow-up requires gauntlet arts

Python Technique requires combat with a gauntlet art and has a 15% chance to follow up regardless of Attack Speed. It occasionally gives her an extra hit despite low Speed, but the rate is low. Plan kills assuming it will not activate. Normal sword attacks do not satisfy this gauntlet art condition.

Battlemaster has innate Combat Arts +3, Axe Hit +7, and Brawl Hit +7, with the latter two applying to their equipped weapon types. These are current class abilities, listed separately from the five equipped ability slots and not counted twice. Extra Combat Art slots allow several options, but each combat still uses one chosen art.

For damage training, prioritize Strength, HP, Dexterity, and Defense. Strength powers physical damage, Dexterity helps Hit, and HP/Defense determine whether she can act after taking enemy attacks. With 20% Speed and little training time left, do not force her into a fast swordsman role. Magic and Charm are not offensive priorities; Resistance and Luck need not be raised just to balance all nine stats.

A ready-made brawler or final-battle blocker

If your team lacks a brawler in Part 3, let her fill the gap in her current class. Her high Strength and HP are immediately useful; her personal gauntlet art follow-up is a bonus. Secure reliable damage in one combat first, then consider the extra upside from activation.

Another practical use is holding a reinforcement tile in the final battle. The level 58 final-battle setup equips Silver Gauntlets and carries Flyssa. The only clearly shown equipped skill is Fists Lv. 2. She is chosen for her high HP and ability to hold the position. Prepare the other items, Battalion, and skills in the supplemental build according to their separate acquisition and learning requirements.

If you do not want further training, her existing inventory supports these low-investment tasks. For an initiating build, adjust around learned fist arts, weapon Hit, and counterattack risk. Both setups use her current class.

Battlemaster cannot cast spells

Sword, Spear, Axe, Bow, and Gauntlet can learn proficiency Lv. abilities: Lv.1 at D+, Lv.2 at C+, and Lv.3 at B+. Spear, Axe, Bow, and Gauntlet also list Lv.4 at A+. Unlisted learning entries remain undecided, and proficiency training alone does not change class.

White Magic teaches Laia at D, Resquia at C, Physic at B, Rescue at A, and White-Magic Mastery at S+. Black Magic teaches Fire at D, Thunder at C, Bolganone at B, and Thoron at A. None can be cast as Battlemaster, so keep them out of her current-class loadout.

Books and training gear suit her tastes

She likes reading, sewing, and exercise, and dislikes woodlice and alcohol. Her favorite gifts include History of a Master, Tome from Away, Eastern Love Story, School Scandal, Tales of the Arena, Training Weights, Training Bracelet, and Strategy Manuscript.

Gifts raise bonds. They do not change her fixed class or directly improve Speed growth. Recruitment happens through the story, so these preferences add no joining requirements.

一句话结论

She joins late in a fixed class, so neither a beginner start nor The Eternal route is available. Treat her 15% gauntlet-art follow-up as a bonus; calculate kills without it.

Check Battlemaster at the upper left and her gauntlets in the center, then compare Attack Speed on the left and equipped abilities on the right. Judge finishing damage from the current setup.

Training route by stage

Part 1: no formal training period

Part 1 offers no formal recruitment or reclass training period for her. She is fixed as Battlemaster and cannot become Warrior or The Eternal.

Part 2: keep both characters alive

When you encounter her and Aswan in Chapter 3, keep both alive for Part 3 recruitment. Part 2 still has no free training period for her.

Part 3: fill a melee slot immediately

She joins through story and survival prerequisites after returning to town from the Segment 4 battle, at the start of Segment 5. Use her current level and learned abilities. As a fixed Battlemaster, she does not take the generic level 45 exam route.
