Playing this class

Battlemaster is a Part 3 physical damage class with HP and Strength growth +25 percentage points each. Axe and gauntlet users can keep building damage here. Mastery art War Master's Strike deals 1.5× damage, benefiting more from higher Strength.

A gauntlet-equipped Battlemaster's actual status screen lists Axe Hit +7, Brawl Hit +7, and Combat Arts +3 as class abilities on the right. Equipped abilities appear separately below.

Who suits the class

  • Goliath: master Focused Counter in Dreadnought, then switch here for Axe Hit +7 and stronger counters.
  • Dadao: continue from Warrior to prioritize Strength and heavy damage. For holding positions instead, use Castle Knight.
  • Mu: Gladiator → Pugilist → Warrior → Battlemaster, using gauntlets with range 1–2 Qiankun Circles as backup.

Bertrand and Simon can also continue here from Warrior.

How to train

Unlocks after Part 3 Segment 1; prepare for the exam at level 45 with any one of Sword, Axe, or Gauntlet A. It uses all three, but Hit +7 applies only to axes and gauntlets. It also gives Combat Arts +3. Beyond HP and Strength, growth modifiers are Speed +5, Defense +10, and Dexterity, Magic, Resistance, and Luck −5 each.

When to use it

Stay here for level-ups when Strength is short. For burst damage, learn War Master's Strike and pair it with Warrior mastery Practiced Art for Combat Art Hit +10. High HP does not provide armored Defense, so limit how many enemies you engage.
