Playing this class

The Cavalier gives physical cavalry more reach and uses Golden Ride to nullify both cavalry effectiveness and special effectiveness. Base Movement is 8. For endgame rescues or distant objectives, that matters more than mastery’s Dexterity +10.

The Cavalier’s exam shows Riding A and Sword/Spear/Axe S options at lower left. Mount/Dismount, Combat Arts +3, and Golden Ride appear on the right, with Movement 8 in the preview.

Who benefits

  • Cai: transition from Orichaldia, retaining physical swords, spears, and a mount while using personal mobility for distant targets. Give it to someone else for a Black Magic damage build.

Prioritize core cavalry already close to weapon S and Riding A to save last-minute retraining.

Training route

From Section 4 of the Promised One’s story, take a Key of the Diadem to the Sirius room in Heaven’s Crown Temple for the Divinium Saddle. It needs Riding A and Sword, Spear, or Axe S, with 100% exam success. Only one unit can hold eligibility across the army; return it to pass it on.

It uses swords, spears, and axes, with three extra art slots. Growth bonuses are HP +20, Strength and Defense +15 each, and Speed, Dexterity, and Resistance +10 each. Golden Ride only removes cavalry weaknesses; normal physical and magical damage still applies. Stairs still slow mounted movement.

When to use it

Core cavalry can remain in it through the endgame, especially on maps requiring quick changes of direction. Divine Dexterity mastery adds 10 Dexterity but arrives late. Do not rebuild an entire training route for it.
