Recommended characters for this class
Playing this class
If you already use spear/sword cavalry and do not need spellcasting, continue physical combat as Orichaldia. Base Movement 7 and Combat Arts +3 make it easier to reach fights while carrying arts for different targets.

Who benefits
Cai: On a spear cavalry path, continue from Ornius Rider and Light Cavalry into
Bardinger, then Orichaldia, with
The Cavalier later. Choose
High Savant to retain Black Magic instead.
Gaitz can follow
Light Cavalry →
Bardinger → Orichaldia for high Strength.
Lysander can also arrive after Ornius Rider, Armored Ornius Rider, and Bardinger.
Io can switch from Bardinger;
Creek and
Nathan can continue physical spear cavalry here too.
Training
It unlocks after clearing segment 1 of the Promised One’s story. Recommended exam level is 45, with Riding B and either Spear A or Sword A. Use a weapon already trained; there is no need to train all three physical weapons.
Growth modifiers are HP and Strength +15 each, Speed and both defenses +5 each, and Magic −5. On terrain unfavorable to cavalry, such as stairs, compare movement range after dismounting.
Mastery Fierce Spear is an active Combat Art that prevents enemy follow-ups in that combat. Use it when low Speed makes an initiating attack risky. Enemy phase still uses your own Attack Speed normally.
When to use it
Stay here when you want horseback spear combat without magic, then enter
The Cavalier after earning Divine certification. Fierce Spear protects one engagement but replaces an art that could improve damage or Hit. It is not a mandatory mastery grind.
