Playing this class

The Trident combines a spear frontline with white-magic support: triple white magic uses, Magic Heal +10, and Defense +10 from Divine Wall mastery. A spear user with long-range healing can hold the line and rescue allies.

The Trident exam preview lists Combat Arts +3, Magic Heal +10, White-Magic Zenith, and Divine Wall mastery on the right. Check Spear S and the exam item requirement at the lower left.

Who suits this class

Theodora can take Noble → Soldier → Armored Knight → Guardian → Sentinel → The Trident. Develop Spear, HP, and Defense early, and start White Magic during Guardian rather than waiting for Divine classes to open.

Ninae and Eshmel also suit combined spear and healing duties. Eshmel can continue from his starting Guardian into Sentinel and then this class with relatively little investment.

Training plan

After Section 4 of the Promised One’s story begins, take the Key of the Diadem into Heaven’s Crown Temple to obtain the Trident. You need Spear S and a 100% pass rate to attempt the exam. Only one character can hold this Divine class at a time; other Divine classes have their own qualifications. It uses spears and white magic, with Movement 6 and Combat Arts +3. Strength, Defense, and Resistance growth each gain +15.

Triple white magic uses apply to spells the character already knows. Healing and spear attacks still each take an action.

When to use it

Stay when you need sustained healing and a durable frontline. Divine Wall adds Defense for physical durability; magic attacks still check Resistance.

You can also take only Divine Wall: after mastering the class, Theodora can relinquish the qualification and return to Castle Knight as an armored frontline unit. Train Spear S and mastery before rotating the qualification. Do not abandon the armor role solely for a higher-tier title.
