Bertrand paralogue: More Physic uses solve immediate problems better than small growth gainsMinor spoilers
Prioritize healing uses on long exploration trips. In the paralogue, pursue objectives rather than low-EXP kills, then improve movement-related proficiencies afterward.

Physic uses determine exploration endurance
When a white magic user is ready to reclass, I now favor
Priest and
Bishop. I used to focus too much on small growth differences, then realized that
Physic uses affect exploration plans more directly:
On a focused exploration trip, you may not have time to return for a meal. Once spells run out, the team has to stop. Extra healing uses immediately extend the trip. Ensuring that your healer has casts available solves more than chasing another small growth bonus.
Change classes and accessories to meet immediate needs
Infantry on
Theodora's route can use battalions, so I consider battalion benefits alongside class choices.
Tobias's stats are already far ahead. If a new class only adds a little Strength and Defense, there is no rush to spend a certificate.
Nezha gains noticeable Speed after changing to
Shido, then uses a lance to extend attack coverage.
Keep accessories in the bag and swap them in when needed. Equip a Hit accessory when accuracy is lacking rather than carrying its burden all the time. If a weapon is too heavy to handle, switch to a lighter throwing weapon.
Gather recruitment materials without missing paralogue deadlines
Collect the three meat items needed for
Goliath and recruit the character. When buying crates, focus on
Meat Crate first, then handle
Fish Crate, rather than mixing the two tasks. Save other equipment materials for later requests.
Combine nearby paralogue acceptance points and other objectives in one trip, but remember deadlines such as October 5. After accepting a quest, you still need to reach its battlefield. Accepting it does not mean finishing it.
Follow the objective instead of chasing low-level enemies
In this Bertrand's Paralogue: Friendly Match with Brigid's King battle, our team has already cleared a level 35 dungeon and is well ahead in levels. Other teams actively chase beasts. Different factions' movements and kills affect the objective, so check where they are going before choosing your positions.
I block positions to limit their chances to keep feeding beasts and advance the situation. As for level 28
Peppe, attacking him with a level 33 unit gives little EXP, so chasing him is unnecessary. Letting someone who needs it heal and gain a level offers more practical value.
Mages need enough Infantry proficiency to learn movement abilities
When claiming training rewards after the paralogue, look beyond offensive spells. Useful movement and Canto-type abilities require the relevant proficiency at B or higher. Improve Heavy Armor, Riding, and Infantry according to need.
Infantry is harder to train on mages than expected. Some have the relevant budding talent yet still never learn the movement ability because their proficiency is too low. Assign movement-related subjects during automatic activities to turn that potential into a usable ability.
