Priest suits support units repeatedly using healing, Warp, and other white magic: doubled white magic uses and Magic Heal +5. During extended exploration, this can save a run more often than a little extra damage growth.
Who suits the class
Dante: Diviner → Priest → 
Bishop for dedicated backline recovery.
Fabio: use Priest when healing is short, then 
Ovate for dual magic. He can train both Shaman and Priest at the intermediate stage.
Fianna: Priest → Bishop → Wiseman for continued healing. For a mounted plan, master Piety for Luck before Troubadour.
Tialla, 
Ultand, and 
Sha Lan can also follow a Priest healing route.
How to train
Requires Renown 4, with recommended level 20 and White Magic C. Uses axes, gauntlets, and both magic types. Only white magic uses double; range is unchanged. Growth modifiers are Magic +10, Resistance and Luck +15 each, and Defense −10. Keep healers behind the front line.
To develop damage first, level in 
Shaman for Magic, then switch back to Priest when battles need healing.
When to move on
Prepare Bishop at White Magic B, then 
Wiseman. For mounted dual magic, take 
Valkyrium, losing doubled uses. Piety mastery only adds Luck 3, so ordinary healers need not stay solely for it. Train it specifically for Luck-dependent characters such as Fianna.
