Olympia as a White Magic mainstay with Nosferatu sustain

Build Olympia as a White Magic mainstay: go from Diviner through Priest and Bishop to Wiseman, then prepare The Avatar for the endgame. She can support allies with Physic and heal herself while attacking with enhanced Nosferatu. Prioritize Magic, and do not overlook her low HP and Defense just because she can drain health.

Wiseman strengthens her White Magic further

Her joining class is Diviner, the recommended beginner class at roughly level 5 and Renown 1, requiring Black Magic or White Magic D. Mastery at this stage grants Magic Basics. At roughly level 20 and Renown 4, change to the intermediate Priest, primarily requiring White Magic C. It doubles White Magic uses, adds +5 healing, and grants Piety on mastery. Next, at White Magic B, roughly level 35, and Renown 8, change to Bishop. It keeps the extra White Magic uses, raises bonus healing to +10, and grants Barrier on mastery.

The recommended master class is Wiseman at roughly level 45 and White Magic A. Its growth modifiers emphasize Magic, Resistance, and Luck, adding 20, 25, and 20 percentage points respectively. Magic Heal +15 further improves healing per cast, and White Magic uses remain doubled. Although it can also use axes, one of her strengths, magic remains the focus of this path. There is no need to shift her training priorities just to wield an axe. Wiseman grants MagControl on mastery.

For Divine, choose The Avatar after Black Magic or White Magic S and prepare its qualification. It triples black and white magic uses, provides Magic Hit +10 and Magic Heal +20, and masters Divine Law. Compared with Wiseman, it also restores a late-game role using both schools. Wiseman cannot attack with Black Magic.

The mounted branch trades away extra spell uses

In Cai's story, you can switch the advanced class to Troubadour and pair it with Monoceros. At bond level 5, it gives Luck +3 and adds 10 percentage points to Resistance growth, helping a healer survive. Animal capture begins in Chapter 5 of Cai's story. Total growth bonuses at bond level 5 equal 25 percentage points, so you can use a wild individual of the same type until you find a rare one.

Cavalry helps travel, but Troubadour does not increase White Magic uses. If the battle needs repeated Nosferatu attacks and several Physic casts, Bishop’s uses fit better. Choose mobility when infantry cannot keep up with the front. The two classes’ bonuses do not stack.

Nosferatu provides damage and healing together

Competitive Zeal grants Critical +10 when magic is equipped, and level 35's Ardent Nosferatu+ adds Attack +5 and Critical +10 to Nosferatu. Together, these give Nosferatu an extra 20 Critical, and higher damage also increases health drained. Nosferatu restores half the damage dealt. It must actually hit and deal damage; it cannot save her after a one-hit defeat.

She lacks the powerful healing spell Recover, but has Heal and Physic. Emergis improves allies' Dodge, Silence prevents enemy spellcasting, and Berserk confuses enemies. Reaching Physic at White Magic B, then Silence at A, are important milestones for this White Magic build. Use Nosferatu for damage when healing is not needed, so attacking does not delay treatment for allies.

Her Black Magic includes Thunder, Blizzard, Thoron, and Ice Blade. Thoron has a base Range of 1–3, farther than other common spells, but pays for it in Hit and Weight. Do not send her into close combat just because its Might is 20. Classes with both magic types can use Black Magic to conserve Nosferatu uses; pure White Magic classes must choose spells within their casting permissions.

Check Magic and survival at the end of Part 1

Around level 40, it is ideal for Magic, Resistance, Speed, and HP to exceed expectations. Her personal 50% Magic growth improves attacks, while one-third of Magic contributes to healing. Her 40% Resistance growth helps her withstand magical counterattacks. The main goal of her 35% Speed growth is to take fewer follow-up attacks, while 35% HP growth provides a margin of safety when she occasionally takes a hit.

Strength 35%, Defense 30%, and Charm 40% are not primary benchmarks. Wiseman can use axes, but that alone is no reason to train Strength. Handle low Defense through positioning first. Dexterity 35% and Luck 40% can grow normally; all nine personal growths total 340. If Magic grows poorly, train her on another route and use Merge Causality to take each higher stat.

Her overall rating is A: healing and magic capable of landing critical hits are both useful, giving her plenty of opportunities to fight in Part 1. Her weaknesses are average Speed and Dexterity, along with poor physical durability that makes pushing forward risky. Axe and White Magic are strengths, while Spear is a weakness. Training should serve the White Magic path rather than abandoning her existing spell advantages just to use her Axe strength.

Improve Hit without a long detour

Steady Shot grants Hit +5 when infantry equips bows or magic, directly helping Nosferatu. Equip her personal spell skills and the White Magic proficiency skill series according to the spells she currently uses most. Attack Formation strengthens adjacent allies, while Threaten+ reduces adjacent enemies' Critical. Armored Combat works only in armored classes, so it is not a permanent Dexterity bonus for Bishop.

She can also learn Gale Spear, Spike, Mighty Fist, and Song of Feeling. Song of Feeling gives allies in range Strength +2 until the next player phase, adding support beyond attacks and healing. For Combat Arts, check whether the current class can use the relevant weapon. Learning an art does not make it equippable on every magic class.

In Chapter 3 of Leda's story, she joins through the story after her event battle. Chapter 4 of Cai's story requires Support 3 and Renown 8; Chapter 5 of Dietrich's story requires Support 3 and Renown 6; and Chapter 5 of Theodora's story requires Support 3 and Renown 9. These three stories also require negotiations.

First, explore Dawn Plains for Scarlet Firedrops. Travel from East Amalthea Station to Feronia Station; with stations unlocked, a return trip from the capital takes about five turns. Allow more travel time without them. Second, buy Aurum Rose at Baina Oasis in the desert west of the capital. The first visit requires crossing the desert from the east, and the route disappears, so leave enough exploration time. Third, obtain Azure Heart from Azure Crystal Cave in the continent’s southwest, using nearby Chiron Station if unlocked. All three deliveries are required to recruit her.

She likes music and fine gifts

She likes singing, dancing, playing music, writing poetry, and being the center of attention. Her favorite gifts are Eastern Black Silk, Common Coffee, Eastern Earrings, Orgus Coffee, and History of a Master. She likes Portrait of Yu Phas, Gaudy Bangle, Select Coffee, and Southern Coffee, while Saraminian Sweets and Garum are acceptable.

In Pale Raven conversations, sing beautifully when she says she cannot neglect music and dance for even a day; tilt your head when she talks about her fear of becoming a mother.

Priest into Bishop covers healing and Nosferatu

Start Diviner, then Priest into Bishop for ranged healing and Nosferatu. Before draining HP, confirm she can survive the first hit.

Once the level 35 Nosferatu upgrades are ready, damage and Crit improve while retaining self-healing. In Part 3, check team needs before choosing White Magic-focused Wiseman or mounted dual magic. Calculate incoming damage before holding the line.

Class progression by stage

Part 1: Reach White Magic B first

  1. Start Diviner and focus on White Magic. White Magic D grants Nosferatu. At level 20 and White Magic C, take the Priest exam once Specialty certification is available. Healing and Nosferatu share one path, so you do not need a separate weapon setup for healing. Recruitment timing affects her level; continue from her existing progress.
  2. White Magic B is a key target. It teaches Physic for easier backline healing. At level 35, White Magic B, and Advanced certification, take the Bishop exam.
  3. Add another Specialty class only if accuracy is a problem. One option uses Shaman at level 20 and Black Magic C for Dexterity and Hit before returning to Bishop. Another masters both Shaman and Priest. This costs extra training; the White Magic main path does not require both.
Skill stageBenefit with Nosferatu

Level 20 Ardent NosferatuNosferatu Attack +3 and Critical +5; total extra Critical 15.
Level 35 Ardent Nosferatu+Nosferatu Attack +5 and Critical +10; total extra Critical 20.

Equipment and partners at this stage: Build around Nosferatu and the healing spells already learned, without first assembling high-Crit orbs. Part 1 counterattack draining is useful, but check whether she survives the opening hit. If she cannot counter or dies first, the healing does nothing.

Part 2: Stay Bishop if the team needs healing

Stay in Bishop if you need a second ranged healer. Use Nosferatu when there is room to attack and prioritize Physic for injured allies. Do not throw her into the enemy formation based on Part 1 impressions. Part 2 enemies are more likely to kill her before she can drain HP.

Alternative: If Sofia handles main healing, switch to Troubadour for damage too. Troubadour needs level 35, Riding D, either Black Magic B or White Magic B, and its unlock. This path preserves mobility and both magic types but sacrifices some healing uses. Prioritize a mount with Canto that the current class can ride, then retreat to safety after acting.

Split training across routes on a multi-route save. Train magic on one route and durability through armored classes on another, or use Hunter, Rogue, and Ranger for Speed and Dexterity, then merge in Part 3. Training magic on both routes still leaves her vulnerable to one-shots; covering different weaknesses costs another route’s training time.

Part 3: Wiseman loses Black Magic

Whether to keep Black Magic in Part 3
Stay Bishop
  • Retain White Magic healing and Black Magic chip damage; do not rush to change if it works.
  • Mobility still depends on positioning and teammates.
Switch to Wiseman
  • Level 45 and White Magic A, unlocked after clearing segment 1; focuses on White Magic healing and Nosferatu.
  • Loses Black Magic such as Thoron and Bolting.
Switch to Valkyrium
  • Level 45, Riding D, and either Black Magic A or White Magic A; complete the Jurah temple side quest in segment 3.
  • Retain both magic types and mounted mobility, accepting the spell-use trade-off.

If black magic remains a main damage source for the team, Bishop or a mounted class with both magic types fits better. Discovering that everyday black magic is unusable only after changing to Wiseman means the new class no longer matches the old role.

Alternative: Borrow The Avatar for mastery, then give up the slot. With Black Magic S or White Magic S, pursue certification after obtaining the Lotus of Reincarnation in segment 4. Once the required mastery is earned, return to Wiseman and let someone else take the slot. Returning instead to High Savant removes White Magic, including Nosferatu and its personal upgrades, so commit clearly to a Black Magic damage role.

High Crit requires further orb investment; with ordinary equipment, check the current Crit rate first. Use Battalions and Blessings to cover current class, accuracy, and healing needs.

Check the first hit before Nosferatu counters

Normally stay behind the frontline, using learned Black Magic such as Thoron against safe targets or Physic to heal the front. For Nosferatu counters, take only a small number of attacks she can definitely survive. Check whether the first hit or follow-up is lethal before considering the drain amount. A critical can improve recovery, but cannot save her after an enemy defeats her first. She is also well suited to restoring Loretta to full HP so her Avoid condition works again.

Check Olympia’s Bishop class and physical durability on the left, then the red threat tiles and enemy targeting lines above. Keep the healer behind teammates.
Check Olympia’s Bishop class and physical durability on the left, then the red threat tiles and enemy targeting lines above. Keep the healer behind teammates.

Recruitment details

Schedule her three requests early for cross-route recruitment. Renown, support, and quests all need completion. Do not wait until the end of Part 1 to begin. See the Olympia recruitment page for route-specific requirements and quest materials.

Nosferatu cannot save her from a lethal hit

  • Listing Attack +5 and Crit +10 at level 20. Those are the level 35 upgrade; the level 20 base version gives +3 and +5.
  • Treating HP drain as tanking. Nosferatu cannot save her from an opening one-shot or a lethal follow-up.
  • Treating Wiseman as a free upgrade. It gives up Black Magic. If you need Thoron and Bolting, keep the current class or consider mounted dual magic.
  • Assigning roles to spells not yet learned. Physic needs White Magic B. Before training for Silence, check her own menu.
