Playing this class

The Avatar triples both black and white magic uses, combining offense and support. Magic Hit +10 and Magic Heal +20 restore access and benefits from the magic type lost in Druid or Wiseman. Only one character can hold the qualification at a time, so decide who stays and who uses it for mastery.

Who suits this class

  • Orchel: Continue from Bishop → Wiseman. Long-range healing, group healing, and white magic effective against undead all benefit from triple uses.
  • Talimun: Switch after Ovate → Druid to regain white magic and take over late-game healing.
  • Sofia: Compete for this slot after Priest → Bishop → Wiseman, letting a healer also use black magic. Fabio, Olympia, and Hong Hua also have this Divine branch.

Sirocco suits staying for dual-magic offense. Troy can take the mastery to improve Magic, then return to gauntlets and white magic.

Training plan

After Section 4 of the Promised One’s story begins, take the Key of the Diadem into Heaven’s Crown Temple to obtain the Lotus of Reincarnation. Either Black Magic S or White Magic S qualifies, and the pass rate must be 100% to attempt the exam. It uses swords, axes, gauntlets, and both types of magic, with base Movement 6. Growth modifiers are Magic and Resistance +30 each, Speed +10, and Defense −5.

When to use it

Keep a support mage here when you need more Warp, Resquia, or high-tier spell uses. A black-magic attacker can master Divine Law for Magic +10, then return to Druid, relinquishing the qualification for a teammate and regaining Speed and Dexterity modifiers. Hong Hua can likewise take Divine Law, then return to Druid or Valkyrium. Each character must qualify and fully master the class, so rotating it costs training time.
