Chapter 11: Twisted LoveMinor spoilers
Clear mages first. A chariot archer can take the left ballista but cannot dismount after Shove. Clear nearby enemies before luring the upper group, and withdraw low-Resistance units when the full assault starts.
Advance with
Dietrich as your main attacker and keep a healer close. Kill the mages first instead of making him take their magic attacks. A well-trained chariot archer can Shove the enemy off the left ballista on turn one. You cannot dismount after Shove, so calculate the follow-up damage from two spear users before committing. Clear nearby enemies before luring the upper group. When the full assault begins, withdraw low-Resistance units first. During the boss phase, do not move anyone forward who cannot survive the attacks that follow.
Clear mages or take the ballista at the start

Approach 1: Advance behind Dietrich. Kill the mages first and keep a healer with the party. Dietrich is still vulnerable to mages at this stage. Stop when you reach a mage on the other side instead of advancing simply because physical enemies cannot hurt him.
Approach 2: Take the ballista with a chariot archer. On turn one, count a 7-tile route from your starting position to the left ballista. Use Shove to push its occupant onto another tile and take the position. Choose a Charioteer who can use bows so they can use the ballista afterward. Shove prevents dismounting, so calculate damage at the destination with the unit still riding the chariot.

Before choosing the ballista route, confirm that your landing tile is safe against both spear users. A Charioteer with 52 Defense takes no damage from this wave and can kill them with counters. With insufficient Defense, charging in and then trying to dismount is too late.
Watch enemies on the right and pegasi behind you
After engaging the first group, check the right flank and the pegasi behind you before advancing again. Enemies remain on the right, and pegasi are approaching. Do not position your back line based only on targets ahead. If your front line is poisoned, check the status panel as well as healing HP. Healing does not cure poison.
Clear nearby enemies before luring the upper group
Approaching the upper area draws its enemies down. Clear the others nearby first, then try luring the mage alone so both groups do not attack together. Check whether you can follow up against Myrmidons. If not, do not calculate a kill using two hits. Heal your front-line units first if their HP is dangerously low.
Withdraw low-Resistance units when the full assault starts
Once the full assault begins, recheck enemy attack ranges before moving. They expand significantly, so move low-Resistance units aside first. During the boss phase, advance only with units who can survive subsequent attacks. Do not send fragile units into range for a finishing blow.
Schedule four paralogues before the main battle
Itinerary 1: Orchel before Cai. Accept Anatolia's Paralogue: Queen of the Erased at the chapter's start and schedule the journey for Talimun's Paralogue: Secret of the Vanished Carriage as well. Their deadlines are October 17 and October 12 respectively. Return on October 18 to accept the later paralogues, then do Orchel's Paralogue: Orchel's Regret before returning to town for Cai's Paralogue: Great Escape, putting the out-of-town trip first.
Itinerary 2: Cai, then leave town immediately. If you have already scheduled Cai first, head straight to Orchel's paralogue afterward without adding mining or other activities. Include both date advancement and walking time, reserving 3 days for the journey out. Do not keep following the original plan of leaving town first and returning before the 22nd.
Clear the right path in Anatolia's paralogue
If clearing by defeating the hydra boss, clear the right route first and bring your main attackers and shield breakers forward together. The boss has shields and 3 health bars, so wait for allies before engaging. Once you break one shield section, focus later attacks on that same section. Do not charge in alone and run out of attacks.
Approach 1: Leave someone below to trigger a stun. As your main units approach the boss, send another unit down to kill one of the smaller enemies whose defeat stuns the boss, to help the main group break its shields and deal damage. If you need to survive further combat, use the Avoid +50 Blessing to withstand subsequent attacks.
Approach 2: Wait for support, then use damage reduction. Wait for another shield breaker to arrive, then concentrate two attacks on the same section. If the front line cannot survive, use a damage-reduction Blessing and keep attacking with two ranged units, aiming to kill the boss next turn.
Take Orchel's upper chest and watch for pegasi
Approach 1: Send a Ranger straight to the upper chest. If both enemy chest openers are below, send Dietrich to the upper chest instead of waiting for another key. Rangers do not need keys to open chests, so he can handle the trip directly.
Approach 2: Let enemies open chests, then defeat them. To save the journey, let enemies open the chests and kill them afterward. However, once you confirm that both chest openers are below, send your own unit for the upper chest instead of waiting for nothing.
When splitting up for chests, place Sofia in the middle to heal both groups and pull Mikaela back to keep enemies off the rear. If your front line cannot hold its position, keep it there and use Aurora's Blessing to recover. As you continue up for the chest, watch for pegasus reinforcements behind you and do not let fragile healers become trapped.
Defeat the boss in Cai's paralogue if you cannot catch the pegasi
Keep
Fabio for healing even with few deployment slots. Without fliers, do not rely entirely on ground units chasing pegasi to clear the map. The enemy can circle along another route that your ground party cannot catch.
If a pegasus nears the goal while your main units still cannot catch it, switch to killing the boss to end the battle. Stop spending turns in pursuit. Activate a Strength-boosting Blessing and combine Dietrich's attack with another main unit's to defeat the boss before the pegasus reaches the goal.
After Talimun's and Anatolia's paralogues, return to town to recruit
Ursula and
Sha Lan. After Cai's paralogue, pay
Tialla 3000 gold to recruit her. Schedule these negotiations before the main battle instead of starting it immediately after the paralogues.
