Divine Service and blessing upgrades
You get one service per week across all temples. Choose the god to upgrade, then an auspicious day and two suitable units. Each spends one Motivation, refunded on Perfect. To carry progress into later routes, clear Part I first.

All temples share one weekly service. Choose the god to upgrade, then an auspicious day and two suitable characters. Each spends one Motivation, refunded only on a Perfect result.
- Do it every week without missing one. All temples share a single weekly service, resetting on Sunday.
- Choose an auspicious day and suitable units. Sunday is auspicious for all gods; schedule other days around your target god. Prioritize aptitude and stars when selecting units for a high rating. Each spends one Motivation, and only a Perfect result refunds it. Reserve Motivation for both units first, then plan the next activity after results.
- Start on your first route. Levels and progress bars carry into the next route after you clear this route's Part I. Part II also allows upgrades, but you can save that opportunity for something else.

Unlock chapters on all four routes
| Route | Unlock chapter |
|---|---|
Cai Cai's story | Part I, Chapter 5 |
Dietrich Dietrich's story | Part I, Chapter 4 |
Theodora Theodora's story | Part I, Chapter 4 |
Leda Leda's story | Part I, Chapter 4 |
If Divine Service is missing, check your route's unlock chapter first. Cai cannot perform it during his earliest free time. Press X to open the Adventure Guide and check what is available. Once unlocked, plan an auspicious day and partners. You do not need an audience with the god before performing Divine Service.
Arrange two-person service at reception
- 1During free time, visit Dagsion's temple district, with its upper and lower rows, and enter the temple of the god you want to upgrade. You can also visit that god's main temple on the world map.
- 2Find the temple visitor reception and select Divine Service.
- 3Select 2 characters. Each spends 1 Motivation, and their bond increases.
- 4Check the result. Perfect refunds Motivation. Fill the contribution bar to level up.
Fast-travel tip: When using the base map to travel to a temple, switch the category from Areas to Facilities before selecting it. You arrive directly at reception's entrance and save a walk.
An easy way to remember auspicious days: You do not need to memorize them. Open Information → Blessings. The list follows weekday order: Aurora, Mars, Smyrnos, Jurah, Kalla, Credna.
| Temple | Auspicious days |
|---|---|
| Aurora's Blessing | Monday, Sunday |
| Mars's Blessing | Tuesday, Sunday |
| Smyrnos's Blessing | Wednesday, Sunday |
| Jurah's Blessing | Thursday, Sunday |
| Kalla's Blessing | Friday, Sunday |
| Credna's Blessing | Saturday, Sunday |
The calendar in the Adventure Log also shows each day's god. Major festivals discount training and meals as well.

Perfect service refunds Motivation
- Each character has 3 Motivation segments. Temple service and arena training both spend Motivation.
- Service costs 1 per unit; Perfect refunds that point. A high rating does not automatically mean Perfect.
- One playthrough account almost always recovered the Motivation spent, except when assigned units disliked the work. This fits characters having aptitudes and weaknesses: unsuitable units contribute less and may fail to achieve Perfect.
Starred units are more likely to earn high ratings. Choosing enthusiastic, suitable units helps you aim for a Motivation refund.
Choose partners for aptitude and bonds
Higher Renown levels increase Divine Service contribution.
Plan your return date around the target level
A simple weekly plan: Return to Dagsion every Sunday and complete service, training, and meals together. This suits new players.
List your target god and current level before choosing a return date. If you are close to a key level and need it for the next map, waiting for an auspicious day may not be worthwhile. You can raise Kalla to level 3 on another day if you need it urgently.
Another approach groups two weeks of activities: Return Saturday for weekly training, meals, and other tasks, then stay overnight. After Sunday's reset, do them again, perform service for your target god, and head out for a longer exploration trip. If serving in both weeks, Saturday is auspicious only for Credna; Sunday allows any god.
Grouping two weeks of activities creates time for uninterrupted exploration, but you do not have to stay away for the full two weeks. If a god needs an urgent upgrade, return on that god's auspicious day.

Schedule weekly activities separately from new-chapter tasks. On Theodora's route, Renown may be sufficient while the target's bond is still too low. Group meals, gifts, Divine Service, and training on your return; check quests and shops at the new chapter. List this week's recruits, skills to train, and gods to upgrade, and reserve Motivation before leaving to gather military materials. Both Saturday and Sunday offer training discounts, so an extra trip is unnecessary.
Choose Part 2 army actions to fill gaps
Part II has no free-time exploration at the base. Instead, choose one of three army actions per chapter:
| Army action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Catch-up level training | Raises lagging allies to near the main force's level |
| Army-wide skill training | Randomly increases everyone's skill experience |
| Group Divine Service | Choose one god for the whole army to serve, increasing contribution; unavailable once all blessings are maxed |
One approach is to use catch-up level training once in Part 2, when everyone is nearing level 35, then choose Army-wide Skill Training for every other action. Upgrade Kalla and Aurora in Part 1 and the other gods on other protagonist routes. Blessings already carry across protagonists, so spending this Part 2 action on them is somewhat wasteful.
Another approach uses group Divine Service to finish upgrading gods left incomplete in Part 1. Either works; choose based on your Part 1 upgrades.
Restarting Part 2 does not let you stack Divine Service indefinitely. Each cycle of preparation service, skipping results, and restarting adds to the Part 1 starting result again. You retain at most the current cycle's increase. For more Blessing levels, perform weekly service in Part 1 and fill gaps according to the progress bars in Part 2.
Audiences cost no Motivation or turns
Temples also offer audiences. From Renown level 2, you can meet a god who is present and earn Renown. Each audience awards 50 Renown, which is easy to miss because it does not appear in the rewards list. Audiences cost no Motivation or turns. A yellow temple icon on the map means an audience is available. The calendar also marks it.
- Aurora and Credna do not receive visitors in Part I. Solel forbids Aurora from seeing outsiders; Credna does not want visitors.
- Kalla offers audiences only in Cai's, Dietrich's, and Theodora's stories.
Divine Service progress after restarts and route changes
- Restart Chapter erases service performed in that chapter. Affinity remains after restarting, but the chapter's service progress resets.
- Restarting from Chapter 1 before clearing Part I: Blessings, maps, and waystations must all be redone. One record describes restarting Chapter 1 after reaching Chapter 11.
- Advancing routes in parallel: Blessing levels are not shared. Finish one route's Part I before starting the next.
- Check this week's service before Sunday's reset. If Saturday arrives and you have not served, finish before the reset. Do not assume each temple offers its own use.
- If you cannot invoke a blessing after changing protagonists or entering Part III, check equipment first. The reminder to select blessings again comes from one playthrough record; exact reset points are unverified. Do not immediately assume level carryover failed.
