Wing Soldier is a female-only Specialty flying class with 6 Movement and the ability to cross obstacles, suited to reaching and killing backline mages. It adds no Strength or Speed growth; mobility is the main benefit. Improve those stats in another class before flying if needed.
Who suits this class
Alexandra joins as a Wing Soldier and can ride her exclusive Bucephalus. If she lacks Strength, use 
Brigand first, then return to flying. She can also move from Wing Soldier to 
Shido and 
Swordmaster for a grounded sword path.
Catania uses flight to cross Part 2 obstacles and attack healers and casters. Wing Soldier → 
Guardian → 
Celestial Trooper combines magic durability and mobility. Use a Levin Sword if her Magic develops well.
Loretta has Attack and Avoid bonuses at full HP and can flank by air. Heal her to full before attacking.
Nydine can also take Wing Soldier → Dragoon → Celestial Trooper, keeping her role of crossing terrain to reinforce positions and reach isolated targets.
Training plan
Recommended exam level is 20, with Renown 4, Flying D, and either Spear or Sword C. It uses spears and swords and can mount or dismount. Growth bonuses are HP +10, Magic, Dexterity, Defense, Resistance, and Luck +5 each, and Charm +10.
Carry a ranged spear such as a Javelin to handle mages. Check archer threats after a kill. If the forecast shows a lethal arrow, dismount before engaging rather than gambling on Avoid.
When to move on
Protecting Wings mastery grants only Resistance +3. It helps early but is quickly replaced later, so do not delay changing class for it.
To keep flying, move into an unlocked 
Dragoon first, then Celestial Trooper. If you want axes in the final class, take 
Bau Lord. Let your main weapon determine the next class.
