Recommended characters for this class

Playing this class

Brigand patches physical Strength, with growth bonuses of HP +15, Strength +15, Speed +5, Defense +5, and Magic −5 percentage points. Sword users can spend a few levels at “Brigand University” before returning to sword classes.

Brigand growth screen: HP rises from 50 to 65 and Strength from 45 to 60 on the right. Axe C and Sword C appear as alternative skills at the lower left.

Suitable characters

  • Dietrich: master Myrmidon, then use Brigand for Strength and HP before Shido.
  • Leda: for damage, take Brigand at the specialty tier, then Warrior for Strength, keeping swords and axes.
  • Jester: fast but low in Strength. Use Brigand or Warrior first, then return to the sword route.

Mu, Simon, and Nezha also have physical routes through Brigand and Warrior.

Training priorities

Renown 4, at the recommended exam level 20, with either Sword C or Axe C. Uses swords, axes, and gauntlets, but no spears or bows. Sword users can enter by continuing Sword training. Axes gain Axe Hit +3 and Axe skill EXP +2. The class also has Combat Arts +1.

Regroup mastery gives Avoid +20 for the current combat when your attack is evaded. It improves survival after a miss, not accuracy.

When to move on

If you came for Strength, spend level-ups in Brigand. At the advanced tier, axe users can take Warrior and sword users can return to sword classes. Regroup helps against counters early but has less late-game value. Do not delay the main route just for it.
