Playing this class

Myrmidon adds Speed and Dexterity, then critical damage. Growth modifiers are Speed +15 and Dexterity +10, with no Strength bonus. Low-Attack units should build Strength first; switching here will not automatically break armor.

The Myrmidon exam shows recommended level 20 and Sword C below left. Sword Crit +3 and Ravaging Arts' critical damage +6 appear on the right.

Who suits the class

For critical builds, Dietrich can move from Gladiator to Myrmidon for Ravaging Arts. With a Strength foundation, Guzran can also take Gladiator → Myrmidon → Shido for more Speed and Dexterity.

Diego has a single-sword route through Myrmidon → Shido → Swordmaster. Nezha also suits fast sword damage, trading weak durability for quicker kills and fewer incoming attacks.

How to train

Recommended exam level 20, Renown 4, and Sword C. Uses swords and spears, with Movement 5 and Combat Arts +1. Its Critical +3 works only with swords, so train mainly with a sword and keep spears for different targets.

Ravaging Arts mastery gives damage +6 when you land a critical. It does not add Critical chance, and ordinary noncritical attacks do not gain the 6 damage. Reliable critical users benefit most; do not delay too long for it when Critical is low.

When to move on

After mastery, continue to Shido for healing on critical kills, then Swordmaster. The two masteries connect critical damage and sustain.

If Strength is short, use Brigand first, or borrow Warrior at the advanced stage if still needed. Dietrich can also start Gladiator → Brigand for a foundation, then return for Myrmidon mastery.
