Dietrich’s Paralogue: Sealed-Off PastMajor spoilers
Use ranged attacks left, lances center, and bows right. Clear the three large central enemies first, then hold all three lanes for 10 turns instead of chasing a rout.
Return to the nine-paralogue walkthrough; for calendar planning, see Theodora’s route and Leda’s route walkthrough.
- Defend the objective for 10 turns; you are not racing to kill a boss within 10 turns. Ordinary enemies keep spawning, so chasing a rout leaves your defensive line empty.
- Bring range left, lances center, and bows right. Each lane has different enemy types. Assign roles before deployment to avoid crossing the map to fill gaps afterward.
- Intercept ordinary enemies while prioritizing the 3 large central enemies. They do not return after defeat, so clearing them early greatly reduces later pressure.
Victory conditions and map
Survive 10 turns to win. You lose if an enemy reaches the objective or the current protagonist or Dietrich falls. Defeating the large enemies does not justify moving every defender away from the objective tiles.
| Route | Chapter | Acceptance window | Completion deadline |
|---|---|---|---|
Theodora | Chapter 12 | October 16–21 | October 24 |
Leda | Chapter 11 | October 16–29 | November 1 |

Find Fabio in the plaza in front of Dagsion’s Grand Arena, then head to Dark Cavern southwest of the imperial capital. This paralogue occurs only on Theodora’s and Leda’s routes.

Enemies and boss
| Position | Enemies | Response |
|---|---|---|
| Left | Infantry with attack range 1 | Avoid counters with magic, bows, or ranged lances from at least 2 tiles away |
| Center lane | Cavalry | Lances |
| Right | Fliers | Bows |
| Center | 3 large enemies | Concentrate on them first; they do not respawn |
Clear the central large enemies before splitting defense
Fill the three lane roles before choosing how much damage to concentrate in the center. Use magic, bows, or ranged lances that can attack from at least 2 tiles on the left. Put lances in the middle and keep Archers on the right.
Leave units on both flanks and send the main force to the center. Keep enough units on the left and right to intercept ordinary enemies, then concentrate the remaining 5–7 on the three large enemies in the middle.

Pressure relief: redistribute after the large enemies fall. These three do not return. Once they are cleared, spread your main fighters across all three lanes so one line is not taking hits while another sits idle.
Later phase: conserve HP and durability until turn 10. Ordinary enemies keep appearing on enemy phase, with more arriving after a group is cleared. Use only the attacks needed, preserve healing and weapon durability, and do not leave the defensive line to chase wounded enemies.

Available rewards
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Base rewards | |
Fabio recruitment on Leda's route | Finish the paralogue, then wait until Dietrich's team is eliminated. Give a gift first, reach Renown 9 and Bond Level 3 with Leda, then offer a weapon he likes. Da Mina Gauntlets work. |
Theodora's route | You can play this battle for rewards, but Fabio has no recruitment option on this route. |
Finish by the 24th on Theodora's route
Keep all three lanes defended after clearing the center. Ordinary enemies continue appearing on enemy phase. Preserve HP and weapon durability to last all 10 turns.
Theodora’s deadline is earlier. Accept no later than 10/21 and complete by 10/24. Do not use Leda’s 11/1 deadline. Before leaving town, schedule travel for overlapping paralogues such as Cai’s and Orchel’s as well.
Schedule the next paralogues and Fabio recruitment
Victory settles this paralogue immediately; you do not need to return to the imperial capital to report it. Return for other activities or recruitment. Check Fabio on Leda’s route. On both available routes, check whether Orchel's Paralogue: Orchel's Regret and Cai's Paralogue: Great Escape remain. When several overlap, do outside-town requests first and date-advancing conversations last.
