Leda’s Paralogue: Diversionary TacticsMajor spoilers
Accept both early-September paralogues before advancing through Leda’s conversation. Bring poison cures, and wait for turn-6 reinforcements if your damage is insufficient.
Return to the nine-paralogue walkthrough; for story scheduling, see Dietrich’s route walkthrough and Theodora’s route walkthrough.
- Accept the requests before advancing time. On Dietrich’s route in early September, accept both Leda’s and Theodora’s paralogues first instead of fast-forwarding to battle day yourself.
- Bears inflict poison. Bring Antitoxin or Restore. Destroy connected cargo piles to open routes, then focus on bears, spending fewer actions going around obstacles.
- If you cannot win yet, stabilize and wait for turn 6. Allied reinforcements arrive at its start, and Leda leaves at the same time. Do not build your entire damage plan around her.
Victory conditions and map
Rout the enemy to win; losing the current protagonist or Leda causes defeat. Clear the bears in this battle.
| Route | Chapter | Acceptance window | Starting the battle |
|---|---|---|---|
Dietrich | Chapter 9 | September 2–8 | Advance through Leda’s conversation |
Theodora | Chapter 10 | September 2–8 | Same as above |
Cai, Leda | — | Unavailable | — |
Find Leda in front of Kalla’s temple in Dagsion. Accept before September 7 if possible, then advance to battle through her conversation. On Dietrich’s route, accept Theodora’s paralogue before continuing Leda’s request.

Enemies and boss
The enemies are bears whose attacks inflict poison. Bring Antitoxin or remove the status with a unit who knows Restore.
Recommended deployment and tactics
Let armor take hits and open a path, with rear units healing and curing poison while attackers focus down bears.
Phase 1: clear obstacles without rushing everyone out. Have the front line approach cargo piles first. Destroying one also clears adjacent obstacles. Check the newly opened attack routes before the rear follows. This saves destruction actions and prevents the route opener from taking several bears’ attacks first.

Phase 2: handle bears one at a time and manage both HP and poison. Keep Antitoxin on someone able to use it promptly, and assign Restore users to remove status effects. When a tank is poisoned, check remaining HP and the next enemies as well as whether the current attack is survivable.
From turn 6: Use reinforcements to finish clearing. If the first five turns lack damage, avoid overextending and wait for allied arrivals. Leda leaves at the same time, so reassess the front rather than planning around her old position. Continue routing the enemy after reinforcements arrive.

Available rewards
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Base rewards | |
| Recruitment prerequisite | One condition for Buccar; other requirements on the current route remain |
Buccar’s paralogue prerequisite belongs to this battle. Do not assign it to Theodora’s paralogue just because the statue-search request advances alongside it. See recruiting difficult characters.
Speak to Leda to advance into battle
Dialogue progression is the easiest step to miss. Skipping days yourself is different from speaking to Leda again. On Dietrich’s route, one schedule finishes the statue search outside town first, then returns; another accepts both quests, fights the bears, then heads to the altar. The first completes travel first; the second secures entry to the forced battle. Both need travel time reserved.
Check the statue search and Buccar’s recruitment afterward
Check whether the statue-search request is complete before scheduling later activities. If Theodora's Paralogue: Missing Brave-Warrior Statue remains, use the quest log to reserve travel time to the altar. If finished, check Buccar’s recruitment conditions and current story progress. His recruitment also requires Leda’s tournament defeat; negotiate afterward using your route’s Renown and support conditions. Dietrich’s route has the one-day friendly match on September 17, so set a calendar reminder in advance.
