Restore a temple, then complete the god’s request to unlock the class. Trial weapons require a separate visit to the main temple’s priest and winning a Clash. In particular, do not confuse Aurora’s subsidiary-temple report with the main-temple trial.

Restore, accept the request, then take the trial

When master classes become available in Part 3, six remain hidden. Complete the six gods’ quests to unlock them. Towns and temples have fallen into ruin, so first select a settlement on the map, check its material requirements, gather them, and deliver them for rebuilding. Construction takes about four turns after delivery. Include that wait in your schedule.

Unlock the class before trial weapons
  1. 1
Deliver materials to restore the temple and wait for completion.
  2. 2
Accept the god’s request, finish it, and report to unlock the class.
  3. 3
Accept the trial from the main temple’s priest, win the Clash, and receive the weapon.

Trials have many armored enemies, so bring offensive magic. You can train to around level 60 first.

1. Aurora: rescue and gathering

When Centurio’s rescue quest appears in Part 3, complete it first, then find Aurora on the path down from the capital. After speaking with you, she moves to the branch temple in the city. Speak to her again to accept a quest to collect five plants.

If you have not opened the way through the Lost Forest on your journey to the southern gathering area, follow the blue butterflies. Wrong turns loop back to the start. The target plant is a rare exploration result. If you have one but cannot collect all five, have Cai cultivate it with fertilizer and harvest a batch after about four turns.

You must visit the main temple for the trial

Report back in town to unlock War Monk. Then visit the main temple for the trial; the branch temple does not offer it. The accessory awarded for winning gives its wearer 5 Resistance and adjacent allies 3 Resistance.

2. Mars: recover the golden helmet

Rebuild Mars's Blessing’s main temple, enter, and speak to him to accept the quest to recover the golden helmet. Defeat the thieves in the designated cave. Their leader drops the helmet. Since the victory condition already requires defeating every enemy, you do not need a separate rush toward the boss to secure it.

Return to the main temple to report and unlock Swordmaster, then speak to the priest for the trial. Magic remains a good answer to armored enemies. The trial accessory grants 3 Attack and 10 Critical when attacking with a Combat Art.

3. Smyrnos’s firefighting request

Smyrnos's Blessing asks you to extinguish cave fires using Fimbulvetr Night. Accept the request first, then speak to the priest on the left in Jurah's Blessing’s temple for Fimbulvetr Tome. Use it to teach the spell to a character. Give it to someone already training offensive magic so it remains useful afterward.

Put the character who learned Fimbulvetr Night in your exploration party. Enter the target cave, follow the right-hand passage, and examine the fire to trigger the conversation in which the spell extinguishes it. That completes the quest requirement, but you can also collect Adamantine farther inside for later weapon upgrades.

Report back at the main temple to unlock High Savant, then challenge the priest’s trial.

4. Jurah: a relic in the capital

The fire quest already takes you to Jurah’s temple. Accept Smyrnos’s quest first, then come here to collect the tome and accept the next quest in one visit.

Jurah wants a Dagdan relic. Enter the capital, reach its highest level, and take the stairs on the right farther inside to pick up the target item. Return to the main temple and report to unlock Valkyrium.

The trial offers two rewards with different uses. One halves incoming critical-hit damage; the other removes the threat of effective and super-effective attacks against fliers.

5. Kalla: gather at the mountain pass

Kalla's Blessing’s quest sends you to explore a designated mountain pass. Recover the quest item, then report back at the temple. The class unlocked is Bow Knight. Speak to the priest afterward to take the trial. Its accessory strengthens follow-ups, granting 5 Attack on follow-up attacks.

6. Credna: the desert Sunstone

Credna's Blessing wants Sunstone from the desert. The destination lies in the center of the desert, and the path only appears when you approach it. Enter from the northern path on the right. Go up at the first fork and down at the second, then search deeper into the target dungeon.

Once you have the Sunstone, report back at the main temple to unlock Great Knight. Win the trial afterward to obtain Credna's Mallet.
