Accept paralogues before advancing the calendar
Check the route and acceptance window first, then the battle deadline.
Some quests stop accepting several days before their battle deadline. Before leaving town in September or October, mark your route's windows from this table on the calendar.

“—” means the paralogue does not occur on that route. Linked characters include cross-route recruitment prerequisites and Part 3 joining conditions. Who you can actually recruit still depends on the route. For example, Theodora can fight Dietrich's paralogue, but only Leda can recruit Fabio from another team. See recruiting difficult characters for details.
Talimun's quest details explicitly give a battle deadline of 10/12 on the left, followed by Cleansing Blade, 20,000 gold, and 150 Renown. The destination is on the right. Check your route's acceptance dates separately. Image source:
Separate acceptance windows from battle deadlines#
Acceptance and battle completion have different deadlines. For field objectives, reserve travel and return turns too. Return to accept as soon as the window opens, then complete it promptly. Do not wait until the main story ends free time.
Orchel's paralogue on Cai's route accepts 10/18–10/20 and ends 10/21; Theodora accepts 10/18–10/22 and ends 10/24. Schedule the two deadlines separately.
Be in Dagsion on the required date. A quest will not come to you while you are traveling. Record places and dates first instead of looking for a question mark just before the deadline.
Accept one-day and forced-advance quests first#
Secure acceptance windows before advancing dialogue0/41 重置
One day only: Bertrand's paralogue on Dietrich's route. Find Gabriel outside the Grand Arena during the day on 9/17. Visit Fezzan Gate beforehand so the location gets a green check. This is Gaitz's only route prerequisite and also affects Peppe. Cai and Theodora have a 9/17–9/25 window; do not apply their longer window to Dietrich.Forced battles: Leda's and Cai's paralogues. Aim to accept Leda's by 9/7 and Cai's by 10/21. Finish trips outside town before the dialogue that advances either quest. Skipping directly to the deadline is not acceptance and can make the quest expire. Two windows: Talimun's paralogue. The first begins on 9/17; accept by 9/19 on Dietrich's route or 9/22 on Cai's and Theodora's. The second runs from 10/1 to 10/10. If you miss the first, check the second before restarting. Leda has no version of this quest. :::
Prioritize Dietrich's timed paralogues#
Paralogue order on Dietrich's route
Accept Leda on 9/2, then Theodora on 9/3. Complete the statue quest outside town, return to Leda, and use her dialogue to advance to the battle on 9/9. Skipping the date yourself loses the quest entrance. Another schedule accepts Theodora, fights Leda first, then travels to the statue quest. Both require accepting both quests first; they do not establish a single battle order.Secure Bertrand on 9/17, then accept Talimun that day. Bertrand has only one day. Talimun's log gives an October deadline and requires travel, so this schedule leaves it for Chapter 10. Confirm the second acceptance window of 10/1–10/10 against the table above.View Fabio's evening event on 9/29 before Anna's paralogue. Anna's quest also consumes turns; handle the nighttime hidden event first so the quest does not advance past it.Accept Anatolia in October; on 10/18, finish Orchel before returning to advance Cai's paralogue. Cai's dialogue jumps directly to the forced battle date, while Orchel requires a trip outside town. This example leaves early on 10/18, travels 3 turns to arrive that evening, and returns on 10/19 after completion, leaving time for Cai. ::: After satisfying paralogue-related recruitment conditions, return to negotiate and meet the route's Renown, support, and story requirements. Finish field tasks before dialogue that skips dates.
Read Bertrand's contest objective before choosing a target. You are racing to defeat giants, not Peppe: the first side to defeat four wins. Feed bags can disrupt the opponent's target. Plan around reachable giants and preventing opposing points, rather than spending every attack on your opponent. Completion fulfills part of Peppe's and Gaitz's conditions. Gaitz still needs his original team eliminated, so check recruitment conditions afterward.
Acceptance locations and rewards#
Leda: Diversionary Tactics# Accept: From Leda outside Kalla's temple in Dagsion. Rewards: Silver Shield ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown. Associated character: Note: On Dietrich's route, accept Theodora's paralogue before Leda's starts. Like Cai's, it has a forced battle day. Accept before the day preceding battle rather than forcing ahead with Skip to Deadline.
Theodora: Missing Brave-Warrior Statue# Accept: Near the lower temple approach on Dagsion's upper level, from Bonaventure. Battlefield: Purification Altar. Rewards: Pilum ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown. Note: Only on Dietrich's route.
Talimun: Secret of the Vanished Carriage# Accept: Dagsion's lower harbor near the Vandahl Trading Company. Battlefield: Dragton Ridge. Rewards: Cleansing Blade ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown; Talimun joins in Part III Stage 1. Associated characters: Note: The only paralogue with two windows; missing the first leaves a second chance. Absent on Leda's route.
Bertrand: Friendly Match with Brigid's King# Accept: From Gabriel outside Dagsion's great arena, by day. Rewards: Large Bullion ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown; Bertrand joins in Part III Stage 1. Associated characters: Note: Dietrich has only 9/17. Missing it prevents Gaitz's recruitment, which only Dietrich can do. Visit Phezan Gate first to mark the location with a green check. On battle turn 1, use feed and clear nearby enemies; fallen units revive, allowing an aggressive push. Absent on Leda's route.
Anna: Golden Secret# Accept: From Anna outside Dagda's temple in Dagsion. Rewards: Orichalcum ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown; afterward Anna opens shop on Dagsion's top level at night, the next day. Note: Anna herself is not recruitable; she is only a guest in this paralogue. Absent on Leda's route.
Anatolia's paralogue# Acceptance: find Anatolia in northeastern Dagsion city. Rewards: Electron Agitator ×1, 20,000G, and 150 Renown; extra Spellshard and Dew of Peace depend on the number of escorted residents. Anatolia joins in Part 3. Linked characters: Note: escorting Kunlun residents makes this especially demanding for beginners. Available only on Dietrich's and Leda's routes.
Dietrich: Sealed-Off Past# Accept: From Fabio in the plaza before Dagsion's great arena. Battlefield: Shadow Cavern. Rewards: Salamander ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown. Associated character: Note: Theodora can also complete it, but only Leda can recruit Fabio.
Cai: Great Escape# Accept: From Cai in Dagsion's city district near the southeast exit. Rewards: Gem Box ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown. Associated character: Note: Accept before October 21 and finish field errands before advancing dialogue. Do not use Skip to Deadline in place of accepting.
Orchel: Orchel's Regret# Accept: From Orchel outside Credna's branch temple on Dagsion's lower temple approach. Battlefield: Fort Galca. Rewards: Healing Staff ×1, 20,000G, 150 Renown; Orchel joins in Part III. Associated characters: Note: Available on all four routes, but Cai has only 3 days, with just 28 turns in Chapter 11. The fortress takes several turns to reach; do not wait until the final day to accept. Anna opens a shop after her paralogue but remains unrecruitable. If Leda's paralogue does not trigger on schedule for Dietrich, first check whether you accepted Theodora's.
A paralogue entrance in the imperial city streets. The blue quest marker is circled on the upper-right minimap to help identify acceptance points. Replay missed quests and repeat them on new routes#
Return to the obelisk and replay the chapter where the paralogue occurs. This returns you to that chapter's state and requires rescheduling. Cross-chapter prerequisites and later recruitment require further progress; later chapters must also be replayed. Paralogue completion does not carry across routes. A paralogue completed with Cai can be fought again with Dietrich for another reward. If that route needs it for Peppe or another recruit, complete its own version. For Part 3 joining prerequisites such as Bertrand's and Talimun's, completing the corresponding paralogue on any route is enough. Without their respective paralogues, Bertrand, Talimun, Orchel, and Anatolia appear as enemies in Part 3. For full recruitment, cover these four on suitable routes in Part 1, then use all-character route allocation to plan linked recruits.
