Recruit for team gaps: Add healing, range, mobility, or a front line first
For Cai's healing gap, start with Yang Jie. For Leda's melee gap, consider Guzran. Recruit core units early enough to develop them.

If
Cai needs healing, start with
Yang Jie. If
Leda needs melee damage, consider
Guzran. Recruit core units early to leave development time.
Earlier recruitment gives more development room
Recruiting earlier leaves more room for personal development. Waiting for unrecruited units to gain levels automatically can leave weaker stats instead. Identify the missing job, then choose someone with suitable requirements. You do not need to invest in every difficult recruit.
Recruiting the same person on different routes lets merging retain the higher value for each stat, so separate routes can improve different weaknesses.
Cai's route: Healing and the front line
Let
Yang Jie heal early so
Tialla can develop offensively. For more damage, choose
Nuzzuo or
Sirocco.
Loretta adds mobility, while
Esmeralda provides a durable front line.
Dietrich's route: Ranged damage
Recommendations include
Kiroc,
Mu,
Guzran,
Catania,
Peter, and
Sofia.
Kiroc is one clear choice for additional ranged attacks.
Leda's route: Mobility and filling gaps
Catania has accessible recruitment requirements and high mobility, making her a priority. Choose
Guzran for melee damage,
Kiroc for ranged damage, and
Esmeralda for a durable front line.
