Build around the route’s six companions

All six characters who join Theodora’s story without outside recruitment are worth using. Let them carry Parts 1 and 2, then fill gaps with characters you have not trained on other routes. I deliberately avoided characters from my earlier routes this time, so a few did not earn a strong recommendation after training. If you want previous favorites, simply mix them in.

The comfortable part of this team is a protagonist who can fly out and attack at range, accurate archers, and allies behind them adding Hit and healing.

Pair a flying queen with armored Tobias

Dragoon works well for Theodora. She already attacks distant enemies with Blaze Arts. Flying bypasses terrain and offers enough Movement to reach whichever side needs her. I chose it because this team lacked fliers, and it worked smoothly throughout.

Her Strength, Defense, Speed, and Hit are all respectable, letting her deal and receive attacks. Her personal ability improves Blaze Art damage and reduces incoming damage. Look beyond her reach: the defensive benefits matter too.

Tobias’s strengths are simpler: high Strength and Defense. Cataphract or Dreadnought use those foundations, while Warrior is an offensive option. His abilities also reward attacking with Combat Arts, so learning good arts suits him better than relying only on regular attacks.

Accurate archers backed by adjacent support

Lilian is easy to use with bows. She rarely misses and has high Avoid. Attacking a target that cannot counter improves Hit further, a condition bows easily meet. Reaching 100% Hit then improves Attack, so one condition helps enable the next. Mars's Blessing makes pushing Hit higher even more comfortable.

Support units still face risk when receiving attacks

Bonaventure can fight, heal, and support. He adds 3 Dexterity to adjacent allies and also improves their Hit. If someone is just short on accuracy, moving him beside them matters. His own Magic is high and he often crits, dealing with war elephants quickly. But his Defense is low. Impressive damage does not make him a frontliner.

Train skills early and heal from range

Lysander became Blacksmith this run and performed well through Magic and thunder spells. Cavalry is fine before that class unlocks. He is flexible; the key is training magic early if you want magic, or lances early if you want lances. I had planned to replace him with Diego and neglected his skills, leaving awkward proficiency levels when I unexpectedly kept him.

Sofia is especially suited to healing. Her recovery magic gains 2 Range, and her white magic restores more HP, so even ordinary healing gives a substantial amount. She also learns ranged recovery and has enough Magic to attack when nobody urgently needs saving.

Evasive interception and finishing roles

Noctula has good Strength, Speed, and Defense. As Dragoon, she can fly into position and dodge through her post-combat Avoid boost. Even if hit once, she does not immediately fall.

Ludia leans more toward Avoid, with acceptable Hit but low Strength. Let her absorb attacks and finish weakened enemies rather than expecting solo kills against full-HP targets. Seteth used Guardian this run, combining lances and healing. His one preemptive attack on enemy phase can also finish an enemy left alive.

Nezha works naturally with bows, with Strength, Speed, and Dexterity supporting damage. Swords work too. When initiating, her abilities can stack damage bonuses for heavy hits once conditions are met. Dadao can use armor to develop Strength and Defense. The Attack bonus when neither side can follow up depends on the enemy and is not easy to keep fully active.

Jasmine suits receiving attacks, gaining Hit, Attack, and Critical when acting second. Bring her if you lack someone to take contact. Majide has high Strength with axes but low Hit. Place Bonaventure beside him or use Mars's Blessing for accuracy. His initiation bonus improves Attack but lowers Avoid, so ideally finish the target immediately.

Prepare skills before switching to magic

Zarcone suits finishing blows. Low Strength makes full-HP enemies hard to kill outright, but his ability improves Attack and Hit against targets below half HP. Let him finish what others leave alive. If you want to switch him to magic, train it beforehand. A sudden class change without usable spells is frustrating.

Fix weapon accuracy before adding effective weapons

Axe users should first carry weapons that improve Hit, then prepare a Hammer, Cleansing Blade, and other answers to specific enemies. Do not compare only maximum Might. Low accuracy or missing effective options can still halt you in battle.
