Leda route training: leave Dance to Leda and fill archer and frontline gapsMinor spoilers

Use performances and mixed drinks to stabilize resources, then add a dedicated archer and one armored unit. Train different paths across two routes, balancing merge benefits against current combat performance.

Performance requests and drink materials

Following Leda’s main story and tavern requests leaves money and Renown reasonably comfortable. Accept performance requests, travel to perform, discover hidden exploration points, and keep unlocking abilities.

Mixing drinks exchanges materials for route-exclusive items anyone can carry. Attack bonuses, Hit bonuses, and poison protection all have uses on particular maps. In spare time, check the bartender’s and merchant association’s material needs, then mine or explore dungeons with a clear goal.

If a requested item is unavailable, advance first. Some rewards only come from ordinary requests next chapter. Check hidden-story markers too, rather than focusing only on the main quest.

Drink exchange menu: the selected juice costs 2 materials and grants Build +4 until the battle map ends. Check stock in the right column.

Let Leda dance and bring a separate archer

I keep Kiroc for training on Leda’s route. Dietrich’s route already has Esmeralda with Pilum, making ranged coverage less urgent. Leda can use bows but spends actions dancing, so her route needs a dedicated archer more.

Kiroc has growths suited to archery.

Tyranny requires a status-afflicted enemy and can work with the team’s Berserk. But if one Death Γ already solves the target, there is no need to detour through applying a status.

Bow C teaches Breakaway Shot, allowing one tile of movement after combat. If Strength feels low, use Brigand for its stat floor before continuing through bow classes.

Catania’s Speed path

Catania has 55 Speed growth, but both Strength and Magic are 35. Build around her Speed advantage. She excels at lances, swords, and flight. Start with swords, then develop toward Ranger, Shadow Seeker, or Dancer.

Her Punishing Squall adds 20 Hit with a 3-point Attack Speed lead. The Avoid bonus waits until level 35 and requires an 8-point lead. Her Speed must keep up if she is taking contact.

Use Levin Sword for magical damage when physical attacks struggle. Levin Sword is heavy, though, so also carry weapons such as Whirlwind Blade and Cleansing Blade to avoid suppressing Attack Speed. I prefer keeping her grounded for terrain bonuses.

Complementary routes for Guzran

If Guzran already used Gladiator, Brigand, and Warrior for Strength on your main route, use swords for Speed here, or make him an archer through Ranger. He learns Breakaway Shot and Spiral Shot, providing an alternative if you do not recruit Kiroc.

Strength on one side and Speed and Dexterity on the other produce a more complete merge. The cost is that using him as an archer here may feel less satisfying than swords. With Sirocco already providing strong damage, it is easier to spare this development slot.

Armored slots and magic roles

Buccar and Jasmine both suit armor, with movement abilities and reactive combat tools. Choose one initially. If Dadao trained chariots elsewhere, armor offers another direction here.

Sirocco occupies a magic role, with Sofia healing later. One magical attacker and one healer already take two magic slots, making Fianna difficult to fit into the main team.

For more Part 3 options, recruit Simon, Ludia, Diego, and Sha Lan. Part 3 allows multiple groups. Recruit them now, then choose favorites to train later.

Frontline Dancers need Speed and survival too

Dancer must keep up with the front line

Fast flying reinforcements later may directly follow up against fragile support units. When choosing a Dancer, consider Speed, Avoid, and survival as well as support utility.

Tialla extends allies’ combat art range, but I do not recommend using her as a frontline dancer. Dancer must keep pace with the main force, and fast flying reinforcements appear later. A fragile dancer is an easy target.

If the team cannot clear the flyers that turn, one open tile beside Dancer can become a breach. Instead of looking only at support abilities, choose a character with good Speed and Avoid who can keep up and survive.
