Early Leda route recruitment and classes: add healing and a front line, then build stats on other routesMinor spoilers
Leda grants extra actions, Buccar tanks physical hits, and Sirocco heals the second group. Mu, Guzran, and Mikaela provide melee damage.

Leda grants actions while Buccar holds the line
Leda’s route is a good starting point.
Leda has good Speed and Dexterity, with less remarkable stats elsewhere. Early on, train through
Hunter and
Archer toward
Ranger. After switching to
Dancer midgame, use Dance to let an ally who has already acted take another action. Her role is flexible support, so look beyond her own damage. Overblaze’s stat bonuses also help her transition smoothly.
Buccar tanks physical attacks. Move from Soldier into
Armored Knight and
Dreadnought, then equip a high-Defense shield. Magic is the real threat. When you recruit him on other routes, use
Ranger to improve Speed or magic classes to improve Resistance. Save his main combat role for
Leda’s route.
Train Mu for melee and give both groups a healer
Mu has excellent growth potential. In Part 1, choose swords, axes, or fists and train it to S for its weapon-specific Avoid. Choose
Shido or
Warrior as the advanced class.
Shido favors critical hits and sustain, while
Warrior works with
Warrior’s Blood. He joins late on other routes, so use those to build stats this physical path lacks.
Sirocco can use both Strength and Magic and restores 5 HP after combat. One healer makes
Leda’s early route less comfortable, so I recommend a magic path for him. Then each group has healing when you split up. Use
Ranger on
Theodora’s route and armored classes on another route to improve Defense, making him more rounded after merging.
Olympia’s abilities suit white magic, and her damage is high too. Defense and Speed can fall behind in the midgame and beyond. On
Dietrich’s route, use armored classes for Defense or
Ranger for Speed and Dexterity. Prevent enemy follow-ups first, and
Nosferatu counterattacks will keep her standing more reliably.
Address Catania’s and Guzran’s weaknesses first
Catania has solid total growths, but Strength is a weakness. Starting directly with an Ornius and
Wing Soldier can leave her damage falling behind. This plan instead favors
Brigand followed by
Shido. She comes into her own once the later Attack Speed bonus is trained. Use her exclusive mount on
Cai’s route to improve growths.
Guzran joins early on both
Leda’s and
Cai’s routes. Choose swords or fists: swords improve Critical, while fists improve Avoid. Use infantry normally on
Leda’s route and mounted growths on
Cai’s. If you have room, use magic classes on another route to improve Resistance.
Kiroc gains 3 Attack and 10 Critical against enemies with status ailments, making
Venin Bow useful for finishing enemies. Train
Ranger on one route, chariot classes on another, and magic in reserve to improve Resistance.
Jasmine is a counterattacking armored unit. Keep her armored on
Leda’s route, improve Resistance elsewhere, and use
Cai’s route to improve Speed too.
Fill midgame allies’ stat gaps across routes
Loretta lacks Strength if she stays in flying classes throughout. On
Leda’s and
Theodora’s routes, start with
Light Cavalry or
Brigand for Strength, then fly on
Cai’s route and build Magic on
Dietrich’s. Once Strength and Magic improve, both physical attacks and
Levin Sword work well, with an additional Attack bonus at full HP.
Fianna favors white-magic healing. Train
Ranger and armored classes on separate routes for Speed and Defense, then pair her mount with
Troubadour on
Cai’s route.
Dadao gains 5 Attack when neither side can follow up, giving him strong single hits. His Dexterity is low, so watch axe Hit rates.
Mace helps cover that weakness.
Zarcone also needs Strength and Speed. Use
Warrior on one route and
Ranger on another, then improve Defense or Resistance in reserve.
Esmeralda is already a core unit on
Dietrich’s route. On
Leda’s route, focus on her missing Speed or Resistance instead.
Plan recruitment slots after Renown six
Simon relies on Luck-related abilities for Strength and Critical, and his Speed is low. This plan does not prioritize training him.
Io favors initiating attacks. On
Leda’s route, go from
Light Cavalry to
Bardinger, then use chariot growths elsewhere. This route already has plenty of bow users, so there is no need to force in another of the same role.
Mikaela increases Attack and Hit at close range. Simply use
Warrior on
Leda’s route. On
Dietrich’s route,
Ranger with
Mini Bow covers adjacent and two-tile attacks. Joining early across multiple routes gives her ample training time.
Finally, remember the special recruits. Recruit
Sha Lan on
Dietrich’s and
Leda’s routes.
Diego requires a paralogue and arrives very late.
Fabio can improve stats on
Leda’s route as well as
Dietrich’s. Prepare for desired recruits early instead of discovering you missed their training window after your main team is established.
